Killed 'em all!
I have 7 grape vines that were plagued with Beetles every year. Last year I bought traps and they filled with beetles. They helped but didn't get rid of all of them. This year I bought this product a few weeks after installing the traps. When it arrived a put a small amount in a 16 oz. spray bottle of water and walked along the grave vines spraying it liberally on the leaves. NO MORE BEETLES!

It works for Japanese beetles
Unfortunately Amazon cancelled the order without explanation.

Really works on Japanese Beetles
I have been applying this product and am pleased with the results. I only gave it a 4-star rating because it does not kill the beetles on contact. I does kill them however. I mixed up a small batch for use in a spray bottle and am using it on my rose bushes. When the new buds appear, I spray them and so far they have not been attacked by the beetles. One bottle has lasted me the entire summer. I re-apply it about every two weeks. The first application was heavy and the other applications have just been light for maintenance. I have four rose bushes and 60' of grape vines that are beetle free. I recommend this product and will be buying it again.

Poor performance
I've experienced the following issues with this product: (1) When applying this product, as directed, by attaching it to a garden hose, the solution is too weak to be effective. It claims to kill Japanese Beetles on contact, but I have found that they simply fly away, then promptly return. I plan to try applying a more concentrated solution by mixing the contents of the bottle with a little water in a pressure sprayer. (2) The threaded connector that screws onto the end of the garden hose easily pops off and has to be snapped back on by tapping it with the side of a hammer.

Confusing
This is the most confusing concept ever. Why don't they just sell a concentrate to mix in a real spray bottle. I'm not sure if any of the product came out the second time it was used (the first time my gardener sprayed for me). I could not smell anything, sprayed forever, and lastly the bottle was still completely full - which made me think water just run into the bottle. How long is one bottle supposed to last? It could be so easy, why make it so complicated.I only gave it 3 stars because usaully products from this company work. Wish they still sold the regular spray bottles - or again a concentrate for mixing. Tomorrow I"ll try to take that bottle apart and see if there is only water inside or actually a mix of water and the product....

Easy to use and it works!
I have a small tree that seems to attract Japanese beetles every year and this year was no exception. I connected the sprayer to my hose, doused the tree thoroughly on a windless day, and the beetles were gone. Plus, they have not returned. For this one tree it only took a small amount of the product, so the bottle should last for a few years. I'm very pleased with the results.

I love Spectracide products for Japanese beetles
I love Spectracide products for Japanese beetles.I have the Spectracide Bag-a-Bug kit, and it attracted beetles from all over, away from my precious plants. However, some of the pesky beetles remained, so I caved and bought this. One spray, and 24 hours later, the beetle-infested plant was free from beetles!I also noticed that it doesn't kill the other bugs (like bees), which is good. Some of the pesticides will kill every single bug (even the good bugs).

YOU NEED A WATER HOSE
I have 2 two-year-old cherry trees that get completely covered with Japanese Beatles in the Spring. I have been putting traps around but that is not enough and the beatles eat all the leaves. I bought this product thinking that it was a spray. It is not really spray because you have to connect it to a water hose. I did, and it was a real mess, I got myself sprayed with the insecticide because there was no way to control the spraying and although I used a lot to cover the trees (and myself) the bugs kept coming back. I do not want to get cancer from spraying myself with the insecticide, so I just cut the trees down.
