Jagwire Mountain Pro Quick-Fit Adapter Shimano Xtr978/Xtbanjo

I was upgrading the brakes on my gravel tandem to Shimano Saint (from mechanical disk). I got the Jagwire hose and this adapter pack to fit the Saint caliper. Installation was easy and it's working perfectly.Can't say anything but great things about the Jagwire stuff.

Ordered this for my shimano brakes, already had hydraulic hose and just needed the fittings. In their main picture they make it look like everything is included specifically the banjo fittings going to the caliper. Well only after receiving the kit & doing some digging I find out they DONT INCLUDE THE BANJO NUT. They leave it out so you're forced to buy their hydraulic hose pro kit too, otherwise the adapter kit becomes worthless. Thought I'd spend a little extra since jagwire's parts seem pretty nice, didn't realize they were pulling this old scam on their customers. Now I got to order somebody else's banjo fittings cause no way I'm buying the pro kit just for the banjo nut, which should've been included in the adapter kit to start with.

Bought this product to replace a Shimano BH90 hydraulic hose that was leaking mineral oil at the crimp where the hydraulic hose joins to the banjo. The quick fit was easy to install with the hy-flow universal hydraulic hose. No leaks so far and no contaminated brake pads and rotors to be replaced!

This kit works awesome, in conjunction with the Hyflow brake lines. I put this on my 2012 XT brakes with no problems at all. Just follow the directions and make sure you have access to a needle driver tool.

Good price for the product.... recommend to have it to be sold separately by model type, otherwise makes to have unnecessary parts.

I received the part I ordered incomplete.

Hate having to buy, but is the nature of you run brakes that need them and want to customize the cables.

Jagwire makes great products use them on all my bikes.
