Great source for exams preparation
About one month ago I ordered four math books published by Argo Brothers Publishing – Math 3rd Grade Common Core Workbook (Part 1 and Part 2), and Math 5th Grade Common Core Workbook (Part 1 and Part 2). Being a Math Tutor I always check different additional sources to help my students to be successful on the tests, especially based on Common Core. Usually I search Internet looking for Test Preparation information, and then compiling worksheets for different topics. It is hard work, because there is a lot of outdated information with different point of view on the same subject. I found almost everything I need in those books! Part 1 has a hundreds multiple choice questions which cover different topics, and Part 2 requires writing answers, which is much harder, and makes a student to analyze, and formulate his answer in proper way. Guessing doesn’t work! All the books are well structured based by days and weeks, which can help with the planning of studying. I started to utilize those books in my tutoring process, and I’m very happy with the result – it saves my time and effort, and I have big source of worksheets wit the answer keys in one place! I would recommend those books to parents of my students as a perfect guide to be successful on Common Core exams. I’d like to order the book Math 7th Grade Common Core Workbook (Part 1 and Part 2) in near future.

Really helps!
I bought these books during the pandemic to help my daughter stay on track with learning from home. They’re really helpful and I’ve since bought them every summer so she can do a couple of pages every day and keep her math skills sharp. Each year when she starts school she’s ready to learn and not playing catch up for the first few weeks like the other kids. She has realized how much it helps and she doesn’t mind doing it during the summer.

Valuable Math Support
I found this book extremely helpful for my child. The problems followed a logical sequence and included review questions from earlier sections in the book to make sure that learning was retained. I have rated it four stars instead of five for only two reasons: 1) the video explanations are not particularly easy to access; 2) Some of the questions are identical to the questions in the "Part 1" book, so they could sometimes be answered from memory rather than understanding the concepts.

Thank you!!!
One of my favorite publishers for math workbooks for students. I have many of their books and have been consistently pleased with the quality and number of resources they provide. The workbooks include more than enough practice problems for your child to work through during the school year and the book comes along with their online website access. To my knowledge, all of their workbooks come with video explanations on their website. Some instructor reviews question by question making this an essential workbook to have for all parents and teachers. As a parent who has used their books for my kids and continue to do so, I highly recommend this brand.

Great for homeschooling!
We bought this before homeschooling started for extra work and it's coming in handy now especially that we are doing all the learning from home. With the online examples my daughter is able to work with her tutor remotely. Love this book!

Most aligned to state assessment question format I've seen!
I am extremely pleased to have stumbled across this book! As a teacher, I try to mirror a lot of my classroom instruction/questions to reflect those that are similar to what my students will see at the end of the year on their state assessments. This has by far been one of the BEST! I also like that this particular book has the open-ended responses that I can use in my classroom to truly SEE if my students understand the concepts I am teaching in my classroom. I cannot wait to use this book this year!

What I have been looking for...
Open-ended response questions that truly match the common core expectations/rigor are hard to find and these have NOT disappointed me. Also, the video explanations for each problem set are a helpful addition to the book. I recommend this for any 5th grade teacher looking for accurate common core problem sets.

Meh. Good enough but not exceptional
I find the wording of questions really confusing. But once my kid and I decode what the questions really mean, he was able to work through the daily math problems. The printing and bindery makes the inside gutter of the page too close to the content.
