Great ebike and the most affordable of its kind
This is a great all purpose bike for street commuting, off-roading, and leisure. The 500w motor with the 48v battery provides plenty of power that's torque-y but still safe and controlled (Unless you're careless). I've gotten it up to 27mph with the highest pedal assist. Although I rarely use the throttle, it does come in handy when pulling away from intersections or when you're winded on a hill and just need that extra little push to get you to the top. The battery has 13ah, which gives me more than enough range since I mainly use the lower pedal assist modes. I've gotten 55 miles on one charge. And if that's not enough, you can upgrade to a 17.5ah battery that could potentially give you 70 to 80 miles. What initially drew me to this bike was the design of it. I love the low sloping single frame that makes this bike super easy to mount and it gets a lot of looks and compliments. The rear rack is very thick and sturdy, but also removable which is nice. The fat tires are probably the best part and they can handle pretty much any terrain you put em on. I have not tried them on snow but I have taken them on sand and it handled pretty well after lowering the PSI. They really do make this bike look badass, though and sometimes people think its a motorcycle. Overall, the tires and the adjustable suspension make the ride pretty smooth for the most part, also the seat is very well cushioned and designed for comfort. You can ride long distances without getting too sore.I have only a couple of critiques for it. One is that I find the folding capability not very useful as it is still very large when folded. Not only that but it is 60+ pounds so it's not exactly easy to carry especially if you want to take it into a higher floor apartment or office. There is also no latch or magnet to keep it folded, so it's not really possible to roll it folded and overall it's kind of cumbersome. One other gripe is that the battery is not removable unless you remove the seat AND the seat clamp. The clamp is too thick which prevents the battery from sliding out, which is annoying because you have to un-tighten and re-tighten it every time. Stupid design but not a huge deal.Overall I highly recommend this bike if you're looking for something versatile and unique looking. It's also the cheapest bike of this kind I've found, but it doesn't feel cheap. Other bikes that are essentially identical to this are $200 to $500 more with little to no differences, other than the brand and color. I greatly recommend getting at least 2 or 3 strong locks for this, because it stands out and will be a magnet for thieves.
