I did not realize this Halloween candle was a snow globe which makes it so much more fun, in addition to that when you turn it on the inside stays spinning everything around! I really love it, so I ordered two more!

I love this! It has a timer on the bottom of it so your not waisting batteries. I put it in my office so it's a nice size for my desk.

So, I ordered two of these on sale around $16. I am happy with them but thought it was worth mentioning that theyre more transluscent in person. In the pictures, the glow of the light appears orange through the "snow globe" base but in person the only thing that actually glows is the candle and its not very bright, at that. The base is orange but theres no light in it. Also, Its kind of heavy.

This is a perfect Halloween decor and I love watching it. It is attractive looking and has very effective characters and motion. It is also very hypnotic and relaxing to watch in operation (much like a lava light in that respect), with characters moving through a colorful, spooky looking and glitter filled liquid. A little pricey but it has a solid, well built feel.A problem I have with it now and for which I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it has a pump which continuously cycles on for about 8 seconds then off for 8 seconds. Its purpose is to keep the liquid swirling for the visual effect and so that the characters (ghosts and bats) keep moving. The pump wasn't bad initially but it has gotten quite noisy over the few weeks that it has been used (I run it about 4-5 hours each day). It's noisy enough now that it can be heard over the TV or normal conversation.It does use batteries more quickly than I would like (it takes 3 AA batteries). Once the batteries start to lose some power, the pump slows down and the characters either move more slowly or stop completely until the batteries are replaced. It should have an option for powering it with a low voltage wall current adapter as some other devices of this type do. Another option is to do what I have now just started doing, which is to use rechargeable AA batteries. Keep 3 in the device and another 3 charged at all times and just rotate 3 in and 3 out as needed.Update: I am now convinced that mine (purple one with ghosts) is defective. After 3 weeks of use, 4-5 hours per day, the pump has gotten too noisy to use and the characters just keep stopping, even with fresh batteries. That is probably the reason it has used batteries so quickly. Sadly, I can no longer use and enjoy it but it is outside Amazon's return window. I have dropped my rating down to 1 star from 4 stars because of this.This a further update on 10/26/19.The manufacturer shipped me a new device to replace the old one which developed the problems. The new one seems to be working much better and is much quieter. I am glad to have it since I enjoy looking at it so much. I raised my review back up to 3 stars based on the manufacturer's customer service quick response and the fact that the new one is now working.I didn't raise it all the way up to the 4 star level I have previously rated it because there may be a reliability issue with these based upon my experience and that of several other reviewers on here. If the new one lasts a lot longer than my previous one did, I will feel comfortable in raising the stars back up to the 4 stars I originally rated it or maybe even to 5 stars.Update on 11/24/19The replacement Halloween candle kept working throughout the season. I was comfortable enough with it to go ahead and purchase the Christmas snowman version of the candle. The new Christmas candle is awesome to look at.

I put this on my desk with some Hocus Pocus decorations and it was a bit hit at work. Even in the daylight, it catches the eye with its fun swirling glitter and spiders. Batteries lasted a very long time, 2.5 weeks of having it on for 8 hours a day (and I left it on overnight one night by accident) and it is still going. It has a silver wire that goes down the side that conects the flame light on top to the battery compartment. It is a little ugly but I just put that side towards the wall. I still really like the decoration and it got many compliments at work.

The media could not be loaded.  I saw these at a local grocery store for $50 for 1 of them. I loved it but just couldn't spend that much. So I googled it to see if I could find them anywhere else. I couldn't find the exact one that they had but found these which are pretty much the exact same thing. The ones I found were 13.5 inches tall compared to these that are 9 inches tall. For all 3 I spent just over $60 Instead of 1 for just over $50. So thrilled I found these. The ghost one is my favorite one so if you have to pick just 1 I'd do the ghost. My 2nd favorite is the haunted house. However that one is hard to see the bats moving as the haunted house is so big....If you move it to see the bats you can't see the haunted house. So mixed feelings on that. They do require 3 AA batteries which are not included.So cute I hope they last for years to come.

I love this ans have it out year round. The motor is kinda loud, but cant be heard over the tv, people talking etc. At 1st the glitter wasnt moving. I shook the candle and that kicked the motor into loud motion. I bought mine on sale. I would have been slightly disappointed if I had paid full price due to the motor chosing when it wil work.
