I have seen lots of dry verge fitted, most without the eaves starter, having fitted my own I can see why most companies don't bother to fit them, time is money! If your DiYing then they are worth the effort and create a stronger tidier job. Just remember to cut them small and keep cutting a little until they fit, once you cut too much you can't put it back [ask me how I know!] Easy to cut with a multi function vibrating tool, easily broken trying to saw, tough cut [scissors] can't cope and a Stanley type knife will only result in blocking A&E.

Very simple to fit and very very effective. Have had issues with water getting in and a wall was surprisingly damp when stripped down. The verge was fitted easily and there was an overnight impact in terms of the visible drying-out of the wall. need to be aware of the depth of the overhang from your verge tiles against the depth of the plastic trim - I needed to cut back the roof tiles but its a straightforward DIY job.

Bought to accompany the ridge trim kit. No instructions provided and online video doesn't show how to use them, but it was relatively straightforward - the main tricky work was cutting these to shape to fit around guttering. After that it was OK to fit in place, then start with the edging trim.
