The software is outdated/unsupported/unsusable. But there are hundreds of free stop motion apps out there and the set itself is a blast.

App no longer supported - save your money
The Lego set is fine but the accompanying app that makes it extra special (and worth the price) isn’t supported anymore. Making it an expensive Lego set with high expectations and a very disappointed kid.This is the second and last Lego set with accompanying app that’s been abandoned that we will buy.

Do not buy this. Lego discontinued the app. We just opened the box and it’s useless. So disappointing.
