Lily’s Home Weather Station Wall Decor, Wood Frame Barometer, Thermometer and Hygrometer

I looked at this product previously, read some pretty harsh reviews which have since all vanished(??). I really liked the looks of the photo so I nordered it anyhow. I was totally impressed with it! I calibrated the barometer using the instructions and tool provided, it keeps very accurate pressure readings, the temperature also seems accurate. Honestly, it looks like something that should cost much, much more. I would buy this again, I think it is a great value.

Works well - I’ve been looking for a good barometer for years! This is a beauty, very well made and works great! A beautiful addition to our coastal home.

The one thing I do not like about this is that the needle mechanism has too much "stiction". This means you need to tap it to get the needle to move to its true reading, a feature I would rather not have. Otherwise, it is fine. It is attractive, it has a range that makes sense (I can hardly see the use of a barometer that goes down to 26" when most of the time, it is between 29 and 31"). This is calibrated mostly in that range. The humidity and temperature gauges are a plus, and they are fairly accurate.

Got my Barometer yesterday, set it up. This morning it does not register the change. Called the distributor, answer a couple of questions and they are sending a replacement. Point of the story, things happen and what makes things of value is if the company stands behind it. No hesitation in their part. Will rate customer service 5 stars, will follow up with product quality latter when I have something to report. Thanks. Oscar Ramer Barometer part II. Looks beautifull Barometer works ok Temp works ok Humidity way off reads 30% when it is 58% When I bought this only one was left When I looked at back if unit I notice screws are stripped so my guess is someone tampered with this What I would like from Amazon is to tell me I am getting a factory fresh new unit and not a return The more I deal with Anazon and read one star vs five star reviews my hunch is Amazon is sending returned crap to new customer orders Come on Anazon somehow certify that I am getting new stuff I will return this item Im sure it is tired of traveling

The weather station looks as nice as the pictures in the listing--sedate and elegant. It came in a flimsy box, packed in nothing more than some wadded-up sheets of thin foam such as normally used to keep glass from being scratched. Fortunately, it arrived undamaged. The little metal tool included for setting up the barometer bent out of shape and was useless thereafter. I finished the job with a small screwdriver I have on hand. The temperature gauge and hygrometer (humidity gauge) are erratic and tend to be high. The thermostat for the furnace, which has always been accurate, is in the same general area, so I have some basis for comparison. Nearby I also have a portable dehumidifier and a mini-split air conditioner, both with digital displays. I bought this thing because I wanted a gauge of indoor humidity without turning on the dehumidifier. So far, I don't think I can rely on the hygrometer for that purpose. But it does look nice on the wall.

I like it, I love it. I was trying to get one last yr. but allways sold out for the one I wanted at my price, now I have the one I wanted and a larger diameter, I think. But make sure Lily you check that the second gold hand does not hit the barometer hand. No biggy to me, I can take it apart and fix that, and other than that it works perfect. Yaaa! hooo! now I know when to go fishing and if I should venture out on a bad day with low pressure present. Wish I could buy a nice huge one because of my sight, and the gold rolling around in my pocket that I don't have. I guess I had better go to the eye doctor and get checked out again. I have many weather instruments. This one is one of the better ones I have. I know customers have had problems with this, but I must have been one of the lucky ones to receive a beautiful piece that came undamaged and quickly. Looks great in the bedroom and it seems to be accurate.

The barometer is beautiful but is calibrated as mmhg and the weather channels are kpa so it is time consuming to convert and try to predict my migraines which is why I purchased the product.
