Great value if you are looking for a very inexpensive but workable phono cartridge
If you want a real (albeit very basic non-ceramic) phono cartridge, you have two options to consider; this one (badged as Sanyo, Pfanstieh,l Numark, generic...) or an Audio Technica 3600. The AT is better (at 2X price) but on a tight budget this will get you through and won't destroy your vinyl. But watch out for the really cheap ruby-tipped stylus on some even cheaper versions.
