Great vacuum!
This vacuum packs a lot of power in its small and lightweight body. It is super easy to take from room to room. The cord is easily retractable by a button that can be depressed with your foot. I have used this vacuum on carpet and hard floors, works great on both. It has great suction power. I have also used the upholstery attachment to vacuum my couch, its great at removing the animal hair and the dirt. I also use the round brush to dust my baseboards.... which really saves me a lot of time. It is a bit on the pricey side; however, it was worth every cent. I would highly recommend.

Where has she been all my life!?
As a professional cleaner of 8.5 years I can honestly say I’ve never used a better vacuum. I buy a shark every year due to wear and tear- hoses and motor heads don’t ever last. I’ve used dinosaur Dyson’s, ancient Electrolux (my god they are heavy) and every sort of Shark they’ve made. I always prefer the Sharks but after developing tennis elbow in both arms uprights for me are a thing of the past. My last Shark weighed in at 18lbs- whoa. What took me so long to purchase this gem you may be thinking? Well I was turned off because of it being bagged and having to pull something behind me… Here’s the low down: She glides like a dream on hardwood and low pile carpets (which most all people have these days). I forget she’s even back there! The spinning head from suction is awesome!! I can adjust the level of suction three different ways to get the perfect amount of air- I’ve got it set and haven’t needed to to change it since- it handles low and mid pile carpets beautifully and leaves lines. If you’re struggling- your suction is way too high folks. The parquet brush is blessing on hardwood floors- I don’t even have to use any effort to move my wand back and forth. And the bristles- oh they are a thing of beauty and quality- hair and dust pulls right out! The head turns on a dime too :) The bag holds ALOT and I’m thrilled I can bring this into my clients home and they don’t have to see and dirty gross clear canister. Oh is she quiet- I mean I can talk on my headset and talk normally quiet. The attachments are kinda silly where they want you to store them, I just leave them in my cleaning bucket or one of my pockets- the little brush is perfect for lamp shades and curtains- yes please. Vacuuming stairs is fantastic!! I can remove the pole, snap on the spinning head into the hand held part and vacuum each carpeted stair nicely, I do have to carry my 9lb baby Miele in my other hand but she’s not heavy so it’s fine by me. The cord is a little short- at 18 ft that’s kinda of a joke BUT that’s why she’s so lightweight (9lbs is this beautiful babies weight). So I bring a 30 foot extension with me on my jobs- no biggie and I rarely have to unplug. And oh I love how the cord whips right back in! No more winding it around the holder. My only wish is that it came with bumper guards, just for the occasional bump into furniture but it hasn’t been too bad. But that’s not a deal breaker by any means. And I wish the spin brush head was easier to clean out but hey- we can’t have it all. I’ll never own anything else. I love my baby Miele and she loves me back. Makes my daily jobs easier. Try it out and if you don’t like it, send.. nah you’ll love her like I do!

“Pet Hair? No Problem! Powerful, Compact, and Built to Perform!
Title: Powerful, Compact, and Perfect for Pet Owners! I am beyond impressed with the Miele Classic C1 Turbo Team Powerline Canister Vacuum! This vacuum may be compact, but it delivers incredible suction—so powerful that you definitely need to adjust the suction settings depending on the surface. Assembly was a breeze, and the overall design is sleek and lightweight, making it easy to maneuver around the house. The attachments are well thought out—both the carpet attachment and the bare floor attachment have sturdy brushes that feel durable and effective. Plus, I love that the tools snap on easily to the vacuum for convenient storage. I have a dog and a cat that shed a lot, and this vacuum did a marvelous job picking up pet hair from both carpets and hard floors. The suction power is truly impressive, and it made quick work of fur that other vacuums tend to miss. Whether you’re dealing with pet hair or just want a high-quality, well-built vacuum with powerful suction and smart design, this one is absolutely worth it!

Great suction on a well-engineered vacuum that could use slight usability improvements
First off, I'm a tough reviewer. In general, I don't believe in 5 star reviews unless the product is really excellent at its function or an incredible value. If the product does what it says and costs a normal amount of money, that's a 4 star review in my book. Background: I live in a 2 bedroom apartment, which is 50% hardwood, 25% tile and 25% medium pile carpet. I also have area carpets in the living spaces that are medium-low pile. I don't have any pets, but my fiancee has long hair. I am getting a cat soon - I will update this review when I have tried out the vacuum on cat hair. EDIT: I've had the cat for 2 months now. Vacuum picks up cat hair on my couch and carpet pretty well. I don't have to re-vacuum any areas as far as I can tell. When doing furniture, I have to clean the attachments fairly often, but that's to be expected. No change to this review. Functions: Hardwood - Fantastic This thing has great suction. It cleans super easily and the parquet floorhead is effective. Carpet - Good The Turboteq carpet brush head cleans the carpets pretty well. There are multiple suction settings and the device recommends a lower suction setting for carpets. I have found I get better results going slower on a lower suction mode than turning up the suction. The suction is very powerful - it will pull up on area rugs. You have to maintain an acute angle with the handle and push forward and slightly down to move the brush head over carpet. Even then it takes a little bit of force. Moving it backwards doesn't work nearly as well. In heavily soiled areas, you may need multiple passes - the runner carpet in the hallway needed 2 or 3 passes. Furniture - The attachments for furniture and upholstery work pretty well. Depending on your furniture you may have to turn the suction down past the furniture setting to the curtain setting. I have not tried to clean my curtains with this vacuum. Usability - Pretty good The main issues with usability are simply with canister vacuums. You have to move the canister, clean that area, and then move the canister again. If you're using the floorheads at specific angles or direction, you may have to set up the canister so the hose is pointing in a useful direction because the hose is a little too short. It is surprising how often you need to consider how to optimize the orientation. The floor and brush heads have lots of rotation but it does not mitigate this problem much. The cord is very long so you can generally always maneuver the vac where you need it to be, but the hose could probably be longer. I will probably be checking in a few months for a longer compatible hose if this continues to annoy me. There are other small usability issues that I would say could be engineered away. The carpet brush head has two notches across it so you can cut hair off. However, over the middle of the brush head, there is a section that the notches are inaccessible because of the brush head bristles. Both notches are inaccessible in the same area from the bristles. It would have been easy to modify the bristle pattern so over the entirety of the brushhead there was at least one notch that work. However, I will say that the notch does work very well when you can use it. The holder for the attachments is also in a slightly inconvenient location as it slightly messes with the tubes. Otherwise the usability is great. Everything assembles easily and it's easy to change the bags. It's small and easy to store Quality - Great I haven't had this vacuum long, but I'm a mechanical engineer who has designed consumer products. I can tell this uses quality materials. The brush head has plastic moving parts, but when inspecting them while cutting hair out, I can tell it is a glass-impregnated plastic for wear resistance. I was able to cut hairs away from it with a normal pocket knife (not a razor blade/hobby knife) without scratching it. I was being careful, but a cheap ABS part would have been scratched up easily. I am impressed by this product's engineering and quality. Overall - 4 stars I have written mostly positive things, and the negative things are minor. However, I am only giving this 4 stars, because this ain't cheap. $400 is a lot of money for a vacuum, and while it does the job, it doesn't perform its functions unbelievably well. However, it definitely seems built to last. If it is truly as durable as it should be for this price, maybe it is deserving of 5 stars. But if I'm paying $400 for an appliance, I don't want slight usability issues or need to make multiple passes on carpet. However, I'm not unhappy with my purchase at all. I recommend this for apartment dwellers who are willing to spend a little more time cleaning with a canister vac to get good cleaning results.

My 8 year old Dyson ball vacuum finally quit. It would run for about 3 mins then shut off. I replaced every possible filter on the unit including the 'difficult' one to get at in the ball. When it came time for me to replace the old Dyson, I decided not to get another one. Dyson is expensive, problematic and didn't last as long as my old Sears Kenmore canister vacuum that is now 30 years old and still running. I use the Kenmore to vacuum my car. Anyway, I needed a house vacuum and decided to give this Miele a try. Pros: great suction, light and easy to manoeuvre, works really well on carpets. Cons: the power cord could be another 6 feet longer. I really like this vacuum, now that I've had it for almost a year. Beats my fragile Dyson hands down! Yes, I recommend this vacuum!

I replaced an almost 20 yr old Kenmore vacuum which as I got older found it very heavy to move around and the overall performance had diminished. I ordered the Turbo so I could get both floor attachments -- for hardwood and carpet -- and so far I am very pleased with my new vacuum. The hardwood floor attachment wasn't great so I ordered the parquet twister and that made all the difference. I wish it had come as an option with my original purchase. The suction is amazing, it's very quiet and lightweight. Everything I need in a good cleaning assistant! I'd buy another however hoping this lasts me 20 yrs!

Happy with my purchase. Works better than any other vacuums I’ve purchased over the years. Would recommend.

I bought this Miele vacuum to replace a Dyson which had broken. I had heard good things about these lower end Miele C1 vacuums, but was skeptical. However, this little vaccum is far superior to the Dyson I had. The suction is far better and is adjustable via a dial on the back of the vaccuum - which is perfect when you want to switch between vacuuming something delicate like fabric blinds to something that needs some super suction, like and entry rug. The bag takes a reasonable amount of time to fill, despite its small size. A plus for the bags is no more dust flying around trying to empty the bagless Dyson cannister, but it is an additional cost having to re-buy bags. I mainly marked the Miele down a star because of the poor tool storage - the attachments are stored in a cheap little clip on at the base of the hose. Its easy to knock them off.
