Happy except for plastic packaging
I've had these for a few months now and I love them. They've held up well in the wash and are still very white. I also like the larger size and the terrycloth feel. They are significantly better than another brand I had purchased previously (I bought these because I needed some additional ones for in-between washings). That said, I was extremely disappointed that these came in plastic packaging. I purchased these specifically to reduce waste and didn't anticipate they would come in a plastic bag. The ones I purchased previously from another company came in a cardboard sleeve that I could recycle or compost. So as much as I love these, I would hesitate to buy again unless I knew they had changed their packaging to something that was environmentally friendly. Hopefully, they are so well made that I won't need to repurchase for a very long time!

Great purchase--would buy again
I wanted to find a reusable option to replace cotton rounds/balls and found these. I'm so pleased with my purchase! The cloths are soft and velvety with stitched edges (multiple colors) and a triangle stitched across the center to keep the fabric from pulling. I use them to remove makeup and apply toner, and they are super gentle on my eyes--way better than cotton rounds! They are machine washable and can be dried in the dryer. They come with a mesh wash bag and a cute zippered canvas bag.NOTE: If you are using these on your face, resist the urge to use harsh detergents/stain treatments to 'clean' them. These are white, but if you're using them for makeup removal, don't expect them to STAY white. Also, the larger size rounds can take some getting used to, but I love that they're so much bigger than typical cotton rounds.

A great option to avoid cotton waste.
I've been using these rounds for over 6 months now. I was pretty skeptical at first, but they've grown on me immensely. The canvas bag they come in is super cute (other than the fact that it came wrapped in plastic. Seriously?). I leave my clean rounds in there. I clip the mesh bag to the towel rack in my bathroom so I can just drop dirty rounds in when needed. It's a good system! At first I didn't really like how large the rounds were, but now I like that I can use them multiple times (ex. just removing eyeliner or mascara) or that one round can take off an entire face of makeup. The material is nice and soft, but the stitching can be a little rough if you rub the wrong way. The silkiness of the material also means liquids can take a second to soak in. I have to be careful putting my toner on the rounds because sometimes it will just bead right off. That's a very small issue though and is easily avoided. Then umber of rounds and how large they are means I actually have only had to wash them a few times so far. I have noticed that a handful of them are stained. The mesh bag for washing is a little small, so there's not a ton of room for the rounds to move around in the washing machine. I think that's part of the reason they don't come entirely clean. I might try washing them in a larger bag to see if that makes a difference.TL;DR: These are a great option! I'm very happy with mine and I recommend to all my friends that they switch to reusable rounds.

Have Been Using for Three Months
I've been using these pads for three months. I use them with a micellar water, waterproof eye makeup remover, rosewater toner, and an AHA toner. The rosewater toner stained the pads slightly yellow, so I stopped using it on them and now slosh it into my palm before wiping onto my face directly. For everything else, they work beautiful and do not stain. I have a sanitizing cycle on my washing machine, so I use that to clean them with just regular laundry detergent on a high, hot cycle. I hang them to air dry afterward. The mascara washes right off them in the washing machine without staining. The little mesh bag that is included is slightly helpful for them, but I prefer to put them into 3 or 4 larger mesh bags so that they have more surface area exposed and get cleaned more thoroughly. They hold up well to washing; even with the high heat and spin they haven't fallen apart at the seams yet. The seam stitching has also retained its color in these conditions.Overall, it feels good to have a more sustainable way to keep my face clean! I will say that they absorb product more than a smaller cotton pad would, but that's to be expected. If it's that much of a concern (due to product price or whatever) then just do what I do with the rosewater toner, and use your (CLEAN) hands.

Excess threads
I really like the fabric, it’s soft and I feel like it gets the crud off my face as well. I like the colored perimeters for that pop of color. The bags that came with these are perfect and super useful. The one down side is the finishing on the pads. The thread used to stitch the perimeter looks fuzzy and some of the pads weren’t back stitched well so when I went to cut the excess thread it started to unravel. This isn’t a huge deal to me as I can easily sew these myself but for someone who can’t sew after a few washes would have to toss these. Aside from the perimeter stitches the tail end threads of the triangle stitch weren’t cut but again that was easy to fix. Over all I like these but I with the finishing touches were polished a bit better.

Nice presentation, but product didn't meet my expectations.
The pads had an chemical smell to them that was unpleasant. It washed out, and I have enjoyed the way they feel on my skin. They will be good for use at home, but not necessarily for travel. I keep them stored on my sink vanity in a pretty container and have the Laundry bag clipped to my mirror to collect and fill for washing. Adapting to using them as an alternative to the disposable versions, but then face cloths work too!

Great Quality!
I just received my Bamboo Makeup Remover pads. I make my face toner with my Young Living Essential oils and was not happy using cotton rounds. They left bits of cotton on my face and I am trying to become more earth conscious by changing to as many reusable items I can. My first impression of these pads is I love the quality. They are soft on my face but also sturdy. They are just the right size to fit in my 4 oz jar to use with my toner. Thank you!
