Good
I have got fed up of farm fish that are sold as "fresh" so was looking for better alternative. Sardine and salmon caught my eyes esp salmon because it is fraction of cost of "farm fresh" (harmful) crap that biggies are selling in India. You have to adjust to smell. Smelly fish is good for you. Though I see significant amount of oil in brine so I am hesitant to throw brine. Also make sure to cook very very lightly. I cook over low heat for max 3 minutes otherwise say goodbye to all the good stuff. In usa I used to eat shashimi at least once a week. Yes, ideally fish should be eaten raw because omega 3 is very sensitive to heat. The pack does say "ready to serve" but I doubt anyone can dare eat canned food directly. The pieces are quite brittle though and skin and bones seems very minimal. Ideally you want both esp the skin. All said and done it is pretty good deal. It's wild caught, it's cheap and it's in brine. I also order sardines in brine. Finally the expiry is in years.. some 6-7 years. But sardine in brine expiry is only 2 years but with olive oil is 6 years. I don't trust any. I take it as 25 years esp for brine simply because bacteria cannot grow in brine.Use good amount of lemon and all dishes will come out excellent. Wish the pieces were intact though.

It is good for health
Good source of omega 3 fatty acids. But rather tasteless.

Difficult to open tin
It was difficult to open the tin. Nowhere was it shown in the diagram that the tin does not have a handle for us to open..

Typical tinned fish, tasted like sardines
Expected salmon slices, but looked and tasted like tinned sardines. Wonder if I was ripped off by a tin of sardines labeled as expensive salmon? That would explain the low cost. This tin cost me around Rs 350 for 250 grams, that amount of fresh , real salmon costs around Rs 1,300! I for one, shall not buy it again.

Good Quality Product!
Hey, I saw the price before I made my purchase! How could I come back on here and say, Ohhh, it's too expensive?? No, I received a good quality product for the price I willingly paid! We had Salmon cutlets for lunch today and every one enjoyed them! Thank you so much for a good product, and I will purchase again!!

Decent Salmon
I would say this product is good one but it has a peculiar smell to it which I didn't find adorable. definitely recommended to try out this product if you haven't tried Salmon yet. If you are planning to consume this regularly, please go for other options such as canned maybe tuna or sardines or even buying fresh fish from market such as Sardine, Mackerel etc.Hope this help. Cheers!
