We purchased this gate to replace one that was intended to be temporary with a smaller swinging walk-through, as it was difficult to move through if carrying laundry, etc. This gate has a wider walk-through, sturdier extensions, can open both directions, and has a better latch mechanism. It took 2 of us to tighten all the spindles while holding the gate in place, but went together quickly otherwise. Not sure our elderly cat will appreciate the flap to pass through, but since this seems to be a permanent need for our dog, this gate is a much better solution than our previous one!

We just bought and received our second gate after buying our first one last week and now have it installed at the bottom of our stairs. We bought this gate because our other one was tall and had a fairly narrow opening, which made it hard to go through if you were carrying something or happen to be a bit on the heavy side. This gate is fantastic with a nice wide opening to get through. In addition it is slightly shorter and hits just below the hip so going in and out is easy. The gate door also swings both ways unless you don't want it to then you just put the tab down so it won't. We have learned that if you leave the handle up just a bit and not totally engaged/locked, it is quite easy to open with just one hand and still keeps my puppy from being able to push the gate open and go through.

We got this gate for our upstairs bedroom. We needed something to keep the dogs up and let the cats in/out without them jumping on the ledge and knocking over my plants.Overall it was easy to install. Since it was at the top of our stairs, one half of the gate lined up with the window frame. We just used two extenders on the top left corner, one extender on the bottom left and none on the right. I'll attach a picture so it's easier to see! We have other gates in our house that swing more smoothly and latch shut. This one needs the handle lifted to open or close vs a button latch, so you can't open it and kick it shut with your foot. Honestly it's not a big deal considering that's the biggest issue I've had.Our cats had a weird aversion to the swinging pet door so we just took it out. There's 3 screws to unscrew, pop the door out and then retighten the screws. It's super easy to remove or replace that door if you have a big enough dog that can't squeeze through. If anything I'd just recommend zip ties across half of the opening to make it smaller if your dog can still squeeze through.We're in the middle of reorganizing our upstairs so it's a little messy but I wanted to spruce up that corner and have it match the foliage in the room. I just wrapped faux roses around the gate and I think it looks very cute! A little garden gate for my furbabies 💖

I inherited a large dog who decided that she liked cat food as a snack. I moved the cat food to a different room but it didn’t take long until she found the cat food and cleaned the bowls.I was getting ready to go out of town, so I had to figure out how to keep the cat food for the cats. This was the perfect answer. The cats didn’t really like the swing door, but it was easy to remove it.I like that you can put the gate stop on either side so that even a big sweet dog like mine can’t push the door in Eve if I have not locked it.Lastly, it is attractive and sturdy.

This gate looks very nice and has held up well so far. We removed the plastic flap from the pet door by partially unscrewing the housing holding the flap because our cats did not like the flap. The latching mechanism on the walk through portion of the gate is slightly more complicated to use, which is great if you have small children who are good at figuring out child security features.

Greet gate/sturdy easy to assemble. Option to use pads or screws or combination. (We used one screw and pad to secure upper portion of gate to rounded wooden post) Works like a charm and one handed secure gate release easy to use.

Love this gate! Very high quality and sturdy, easy to put together especially when adding extensions, directions are very clear and easy to understand. The description is very accurate, I have had a problem finding gates to fit my stairwell and under the handrail of the steps. This gate was described perfectly and fits exactly how I expected. My cats aren’t intelligent enough to go through the cat door but it was very simple to take the clear flap door off and they go perfectly through the open area. I had a very minor issue when the gate was delivered and within 15 minutes of sending an email I got a response back and the problem was fixed. The company was great to deal with, I don’t usually write reviews but I couldn’t be happier.

I have 3 of these. My fat cat fits through without a problem even in a hurry as my German Shephard chases him. The gates stop him and he doesn't know he could jump over them. They are normal height for a gate such as these, my boy just isn't a jumper. It keeps him out of the cat food. I also have one on my bedroom door to use as a crate for my dog since I dont have a crate I just use my room. I am getting a 3rd so the cat and come and go on the patio without having to deal with the dog. My dog just wants to play but my cat is not having any of it.

This is an excellent doorway barrier. We bought two. They allow the cats to have a place away from the dog and keep the dog away from the cats food and litter trays,

きめ細かい作りとはあまり言えません　説明書も英語でよくわからないし全体が鉄でできていて重い　女性でもどうにか付けられそうですが中学生程度の腕力は必要そうです　締め金具もしっかりしないと本体が重いので怖いです　犬をしまうときも犬を抱えたままだとドアの開閉が出来ません（片手では無理）　値段や組み立て使い勝手どれをとっても満足に至らない商品でした

Absolutely love this baby gate! I personally had a little bit of a hard time installing it by myself but luckily my husband came to my rescue. Doesnt damage the walls and Prefect for my cat to be able to go downstairs to his littler box while still able to have it still blocked so my son and dog will stay upstairs I do find that the cat door does squeak alittle. But I like that it has a lock on it so if my son were to figure out he can fit though it I can lock it if needed.

This gate is exactly what we were looking for. Easy to install, easy to open and close, secure and very sturdy. The little doggy door is a great bonus too and when you don't want them going threw the doggy door just lock it. Ticks off all the boxes for us. I highly recommend it.
