Ludwig L111 Torque Wrench Drum Key

The Ludwig ratchet wrench is much easier to use than a standard drum tightening key. It is easier to adjust when tuning. The Ludwig ratchet wrench is built well. The fit of the ratchet into the lugs are crisp. This is a good alternative to just using a regular drum key. Highly recommended. 5 Stars!

Do yourself and your arms/hands a favor and stop using those injury prone drum keys to tune and tighten as they are more likely to contribute to injuries in the hand and wrist. This wrench is SO much easier to use on the hands. It also makes reaching under your drums for a quick turn much easier to reach. A cool feature if that you can switch the lever on the side so that you can use this wrench to screw or unscrew lugs. It's made tuning the drums a faster and more enjoyable experience. Worth the investment.

Not as pictured. all black with no sleeve (red or otherwise) at all. Works but not as smooth as I remember my old worked. Maybe it will loosen up with time. Three stars for functional but not ascetically pleasing.

Great little tool. The socket is made to the tool. So, if it get's stuck.... Doesn't come off. I have a Roland TD-30 kit and could never get the brackets on tight enough. This solved it.... No more legs flopping around or kit falling around in the band trailer.

Excellent product and fast shipping! I've used a bunch of different drum keys over the last 30 years and this one is still my favorite! Ludwig has been a standard in the percussion industry for many years because they make quality products that can take a pounding.

It’s supposed to have a red rubber cover that says “Ludwig “ but it wasn’t in the package
