Works
Had to press harder then I was comfortable with to get it all-the-way in. Not a perfect fit. But it yielded to my manly force, and works as advertised.

horrible
Didn't fit right. Forced it in. Color is off. Not buying from here again. This was the second one. First one didn't work at all.

Good product!
The bulb was shipped good & promptly. It is dimmer then the original that came w/the projector, even after I adjusted all the settings. But it is still good.Would recommend to any family, friend or foe.

Got 173 Hours Out of It
Mine lasted 173 according to the timer on my projector, which I reset when I put in the new bulb. That is far less than the 2000 they advertise. I figured that out to be ~$1 per movie though, which I'm still happy with. The bulb did fit perfectly and installation was easy. Overall, replacing my bulb was still a smarter choice than purchasing a new projector or large TV.

Great price for exactly what we wanted!
We needed a spare bulb for our projector but didn't want to spend a ton of money on it, so we were very happy to have found this one on Amazon. It's exactly what we needed and the price was fantastic.

This bulb won't fit in an XR-30-X projector
I got a full refund, so I'm not as angry as I might be, but I can't in good faith give this two stars. Thought I'd try the super cheap bulb. Not an engineer, but not new at this either. I know my way around electronics, so this isn't a case of someone not knowing how to change out a projector bulb. Well, the actual bulb was flopping around in the housing when it arrived. That wasn't the real problem though. On the XR-30X projector, the power socket in the projector has a little plastic ridge that helps guide the bulb's plug into the socket. This bulb housing has a gap for a ridge, but it's in the wrong place, so the actual ridge prevents the housing from going in! The long and short of it is this- if you want to get this bulb in, you're going to have to break the housing, break the ridge (and possibly the entire) projector socket, or both. I've seen reviews where people say they had to force these in. I couldn't even get it to go in far enough to get either of the screws to grip, and I could tell pushing any harder was going to make something break. Projector bulbs are too expensive for sure, but you'll save yourself time and a headache by avoiding these.

Returned
Bulb did not work. I took projector into an authorized dealer, who said it worked just fine, needed only a new bulb. So I returned the cheap bulb and ordered a real one. Disappointed.
