You need 3 hands to operate it, but it works great
Great tool. Skip the IWISS ratcheting crimper and get this.I bought both this and the ratcheting crimper to compare. The ratchet is much easier to use, but gets just "OK" results. This thing does a proper hex crimp that's quite uniform all the way around. The ratcheting version kind of mashes the connector flat-ish, especially if you do two hits (which I think you should). I've attached some pictures (black wire).I've been crimping dozens of heavy lugs (no insulation) onto marine grade 6AWG cable for solar battery bank. This is my go-to crimper now for big lugs. The ratchet is being returned.Only two minor complaints:1) it leaves a bit of a "shark fin" on both sides of the crimp - basically where the jaws come together. It's not bad and looks fine with heatshrink over it.2) you need 3 hands to operate it. my method is to load the lug into the jaws, come down lightly on it, then place the crimper on its side on a sturdy workbench (one handle resting on the bench), insert the wire and press down on the top handle. Once the lug has a grip, pick the whole mess up and finish it with both hands.Excellent, predictable performance at a very good price.

Battery Cable Crimper and cutter
After looking at a lot of battery cable crimpers I chose this one because I liked the design and that it gives a hex crimp around the lug, also has a cable cutter on the end which cut the cable with no trouble. It works well and put a good crimp on the lug for me. Shipped in one day.

Works well
The crimp tool is sturdy and well designed. I appreciate the ability to make adjustments for crimping via the screws and nuts. For the price, it's an excellent tool. I was going to purchase the hydraulic crimp tool but after reading reviews regarding leaking fluid and changing dies, I went with this one.

Good cheap crimpers
Not a bad tool, very reasonably priced. Bought it to redo a bunch of wiring on my boat. Not sure of the long range durability but it’s pretty well made.

Excellent tool
I used this to crimp 6 gauge battery lugs and connectors when installing trolling motor wiring in my boat. These are excellent. Crimps are nice and tight. No fiddling with size wheels or dies. It already has the cable cutter as part of the tool. Very handy, easy to use, marked with actual gauge sizes not MM and having to use conversion chart. I returned a KOTTO Battery Cable Lug Crimper Tool 6-50mm² combo, it was junk. It would not crimp tight enough for the corresponding mm conversion. I was thrilled to see how well this IWISS one worked. Even though the crimps were already nice and tight, I noticed that this product also has the ability to make small adjustments if needed. The default settings gave excellent results right out of the box.

Excellent Tools
Bought these to clean up battery wiring on an ATV winch install. Using 8 gauge wire and eyelets. Both tools are outstanding. The cutters are very sharp and effective. Certainly not intended for steel or anything like that; just for their intended design -- copper wire -- for which they do well. The crimper was phenomenal. Just crush down on the connector eyelet, with the wire pushed in firmly, and it won't be coming apart. Nice, clean crimp, and it does crimp the gauge size, for whatever that's worth. Unbeatable for the price.

Better than expected.
I expected a small crimper, but these things are monsters. You have to put a lot of grunt into it, but it makes very good crimps.
