I was looking for a timer that would allow me to set a time but not ring when the time expired. So, how do you know when the time has expired? A flashing display was the only option that I thought I would find. Imagine my surprise when I found this easy to use, count up or down timer, that can either ring or flash a red LED light to let you know when the time has expired. The only issue I had with the timer is being confused when trying to get the device to turn on and work. On the bottom of the device are the two buttons for operation. I assumed, incorrectly, that the lock closed and open symbol, was to prevent the changing of the alarm function from flashing to ringing. However, that is the ON / OFF switch for the timer. Other than this one confusion the device is exactly what I was looking for. It has an easy to read display and a large button to start and stop the device on top. Great little device and perfect for my needs.

the reason i bought it is because of my sleeping problems. i am literally lost in time. sleep for 24 hours sometimes and awake for 24+ and any variations of that you can think of. i have also switched to military time to help me know where i am in time. i am 74 year old male and have some dead spots in my hearing. i can hear the alarm on my LG flip phone and my 'Accurite' timers. if these Accurite timers had a memory bank i would have only bought one. most other timers and alarms i can not hear. ( i just checked my Zel to see how long i was asleep.) the loop feature could have been explained better and symbolized better. to perfect the device for a person like me the 4 outer ring buttons should be smaller, round and more positive acting (looks are not everything) and the text should be easy to see (larger with more contrast on the white case and some).

Has several very unusual but handy features: ()> Can restart with just push on big center button. ()> Has continuous repeat mode. ()> Blinking red light. when timer stops. ()> 30 sec buzzer which I like because a minute too long for me. All in all well thought out timer.

I bought this timer for work and it works amazingly! We were tired of having to continually set timers every two hours and now we just push a button and it resets!

This timer has a repeat function so that if you want it to repeat the time interval, you can just select that. Also you can select whther you want to sound. It is easy to view as the angle is just right for desktop use!
