Great lock
Great lock for a pocket door. Keep in mind this is a European measurement hole opening so it won't fit in a standard American door handle door. Works great and looks sleek.

Nice lock
This works perfect on the sliding barn door. Full size key. It uses the same size holes as a standard knob, or dead bolt. I was able to use a lock jig for drilling holes in doors for the hardware. Easy install. Looks great. Well worth the cost.

great solution to secure a storage closet with pocket door
This new door was previously fitted with a similar privacy type lock with a latch on one side and a slotted disc access feature on the other. I needed the entry type or security function with the ability to escape from within. Assa Abloy is a commercially well known international corporation. I was not familiar with the Lockwood name, however, prior to this. The product is very substantial given its price. I am not a Prime member so I did not get a discount and did not even see the Prime offer at time of purchase. The package comes with a template to properly position the hardware- especially important in this retrofit. The unit backset and diameter of the hole are substantially the same. It was installed on a 1-3/4" thick door. There was minor difficulty coordinating the key action and cam with the lever and the action locked up before completing the throw of the bolt to project the locking spurs. After applying graphite powder and a lot of locking cycles with key and device in hand the action started to smooth out. After about 10 or so uses in place, I am pleased with the results. I would recommend this device to others with the caution about the above condition.

Solid product, you get what you pay for
I tried another, cheaper lock which didn't work for me. This one fit my standard size pocket door perfectly. Took a little work to install it, but the instructions are clear and it comes with a template. I bought another one for another door.

Take your time...good fit.
This lockset was the ticket. I was apprehensive due to some conflicting reviews, but I am a professional and i studied the parts, gave it a little lubrication before installing. The only alterations I had to make was drilling a second 1" hole, and chisel a bit more wood on the door to accept the plate. Also, I did have to drill several holes to install the strikeplate on the jamb (this plate has a steel cup on the back, but I pried it off as it wasn't entirely necessary). After installing, I did adjust the door up and down a bit to get ideal latching. If the door wobbles, a couple plastic guides on the frame will fix that. I didn't use the plastic rings, as they stuck the lock out a bit too far.

A decent lock, but pricey compared to other good ones
This seemed a decent quality lock, yet I installed a different brand, less-than half the price, that was a heavy, good quality lock set. Also, this one required the extra hole be drilled for the door pull. There are better ones out there for less.

Small Design Flaw
I read the reviews first and was happy to see this seemed positive for most. So I purchased one.I spent a bit of time chiseling out the doors and getting it all put together. Then when I tried it, the interior side felt really weird, hard to lock fully, getting jammed when unlocking. I couldn't get the exterior side to lock, it actually seemed to skip which isn't good.Taking it apart and examining it, the slide is actually jamming. Per my photo, it twists clockwise when unlocking it. Then the corner of the slide catches in a key way where the slide drops into place during assembly. This a huge design flaw the the innards can catch and jam on their selves.
