Confusing, possibly out of date. Didn't help much.
I bought this book hoping it would give me what I needed to get started on Fiverr. Instead, I should have bought a different book, or just followed the instructions on the website and hoped for the best. The author uses a lot of jargon that seems to assume you already know your way around Fiverr, so I was often lost. But more than that, the book asserted information that was no longer true. I had already done a preliminary Fiverr model based on how I thought Fiverr was operating, but he said the opposite. It turns out, his book was wrong. This took a lot of time and energy for me to sort out. Although I gleaned a few tips here and there, for the most part, this book caused far more trouble for me than it was worth, and I wish I had not bought it.

Book deserves four stars, as for me, Fiverr has its good days and bad
Well guys, to make a long story short, I stumbled accross this book I figured what's one more book right? After all, I've been put through the wringer-downloaded books, guides, even signed up for a few udemy courses...I'm starting to think it's all about what you're selling and how well you are optimizing it.The author's tone is lively and upbeat, so I'll give him that. He outlines the marketplace and those who peruse it without boring you to tears, so that's another plus. Throughout chapter 5 he provides a rundown of popular gig categories and how to optimize them for doing more in less time and not skimping on the important stuff. You definitely have to have the kind of product that you can do quickly and repeatedly, and good at the same time to make it wroth your while. You know that office poster that says "If you want it done WELL, it will not be FAST..."I have had one really good period of about three months last year shortly after I was promoted to Level 2...and I was gobsmacked! I even found myself "pausing" one particular gig from time to time so I could stay on task and not frustrate my queue. It's been quiet this year, but the day is young.I'm also one of those sellers who doesn't completely agree with the 20% take (that includes extras and tips, too, btw) I understand that when you own a domain it's yours to decide what happens-but it's a big take $1 out of $5. I kinda wish it could be more like 25 cents or something. . I am thinking of going in a different direction of becoming an "information broker" or something by selling downloadable guides that I create on my own. If someone orders this, next step would be to send them the download link to retrieve it, no mess, no fuss. Yes, I'm the creative type and this idea is still in it's "testing" phase for me, at least mentally.Oh, and to the author, George, I did take you up on your free download offer though-if nothing else, I might be able to glean some good info there if it is anything like the quality of this guide.

Solid career advice
I am an American living in South Korea. Unfortunately for me, the only job available to Americans is teaching English, which after 4 years of doing I am completely burned out. My wife is unable to move to the States due to her to job, so I actively sought out an alternative way to make a living. After searching Amazon, I ended up buying this book on a lark because I had purchased a few art drawings off Fiverr and I wanted to know more. I am SO glad I did. Using this book, I was able to come up with a few Fiverr gigs and craft them in a way that I am starting to make actual money! I'm clearly not at $10,000/mo like this book says is an attainable goal, but I *AM* making money...and it's grown more each week. I highly recommend this book to those out there who are looking to take control of their careers...no matter their situation.

Great Intro to Fiverr
The book was a great introduction to Fiverr. Before reading this book, I had no idea this website existed or about the opportunities this website provides. If you are planning to market a skill via Fiverr, this book may assist with the execution. This book provides insight that may minimize the chance of making mistakes that could cause undesired results. I found the book easy to read and easy to follow. The author covers a topic and provides links to existing Fiverr vendors that demonstrate the execution of the topic. I found this very useful.

Love it.
Looking for a new career. This may be it. Having over 30 years experience in IT, I have a lot of the skills needed. I also love learning new technical skills. I am interested in most every idea George offers. A simple to follow plan. Step by step. Read it in one sitting. Rare for me. Not that it is that short. It excited me that much. Couldn't put it down. Thanks George. I appreciate this help. Now, to implement. Can't wait.
