I’ve been using Speedo products ever since I started swimming, over 15 years ago and they’ve never disappointed me. Years ago, I used to have quite thick and long hair, and it did a decent job at keeping most of it dry. However, I will take off one star, due to the fact that it didn’t fully fit my head. I have an average sized head, not big or small and after reading other reviews, I’ve come to the conclusion that it doesn’t properly fit most adults. The design is simple, sleek and it works well as a swim cap. It’s easy to put on, just make sure to stretch it out a little bit before you use it fully.

My wife swears by this cap. She does an hour worth of laps in our pool every day during the swim season and this cap keeps her beautiful locks from drying out and turning color. (She doesn’t wear it for leisure time in the pool and still has to condition her hair as always.) It fits tightly enough, doesn’t come loose when she’s swimming along and is a good value for the price. Seems to be holding up well and she should get another season or two out of it.

Update 12/25: Well, can it be any better?! Anticipating the other one to split open soon, and it surely did, much sooner than expected. Bought on Sept and split in Dec, after less than 30 uses. I get it, it is consumable and costs around a good sandwich, and it must be a business decision to get swimmers to buy them every 30 days of use, BUT, it is still a huge waste of resources! I am making mug coasters and cup holder lining with the material. Don't know if Speedo is listening to customer complaints or not, the two more I just bought before Thanksgiving (in anticipating to replace the just split one) seem to be thicker and sturdier, though still 2" smaller in circumference than the good'ol made in USA ones. Will see. Split open in 8 months and it was alternating with 2 other caps. Quality is not there, and sizing off, besides, Amazon (seller and shipper) listing says Made in USA, but in fact, in Thailand. Last time I checked, Thailand is not yet another US territory. I did have a US made Speedo cap, which lasted since before the COVID pandemic till this year, replaced by this one. This one has thinner material, sized smaller, compared to the US made one. I bet it is a business decision to make it this way so that keen swimmer like me would have to replace the cap every 3 months (this caps effective use).

durable and comfortable but one size fits none so it's just a little large. very tight fitting but i'm left with extra length all along the perimeter that either you fold back or have some ripples in the surface

This swim cap is great. The thickness of it is pretty good and keeps a lot of the water out. It is not the most comfortable; the sides really squeeze your ears. Also, this cap does not loose color unlike the TYR one I bought before. Overall, this swim cap is pretty good quality and easy to put on, but it might be a little tight for some.

Good for the price. Good value for money. The Speedo brand is recognizable.

Loved the design but the cap was far too tight l had to take it off after a few minutes. I don’t have a large head . It may suit a small child.
