This is a very sturdy, nicely built rack!
I really like this rack. No--it's not a finely crafted piece of furniture, but it is built well and sturdy, and flexible enough to place on your wall or by using the included feet, set it out in your practice room, or wherever. I noticed one reviewer stated that the wedges that hold the rack together were insufficient but I disagree. If you soak them in water for a few minutes, then place them into their respective holes and press them in tightly, then take a hammer and something to tap them in like a piece of wood (I used a tapping block for hard wood flooring) and CAREFULLY and gently tap them into place, you will find that they hold very well. After-all, wedges have been used for centuries to hold wooden objects together, and if you do it properly, they do a really good job of it! All-in all I think this rack is much nicer than some reviewers have stated!

Very Nice.
This is a pretty nice stand. I paid about $23 after shipping, and it seem worth it. It is much sturdier than the other stands I have ordered. The only cons are that all the tap holes are drilled in the same direction and it is much wider in person than it seems in the pictures, leaving too much of a gap for Tanto's or Wakizashi's.Overall, I am happy for my purchase. I'm not sure if I'd pay the $34 they want for it now, but it's a good stand.

A Good Organizer For Sword Collectors
This stand has been very useful in helping me to keep my sword collection organized. It is easily set up, and is strong enough to hold eight full sized swords. The only minor problem is the triangular pegs that hold the cross boards to the racks. They can be difficult to insert and are prone to slippage. I solved the problem by cutting off short sections of chopsticks (which I also use as mekugi pins), and using them in place of the triangles. You can even paint them black if you wish. If my collection keeps growing at it's present rate I will probably be getting another one of these racks soon. Sword collectors tend to be a wee bit obsessive!

Not what it claims to be.
The product must have changed or is being falsely advertised because it isn't like either of the pictures in the description and is not a wall hanger. To hang it on a wall you have to buy hardware and screws on your own. It is made from cheap fiber board. Many edges where damaged and peeling like paper. the pieces don't fit together very well. To assemble it you put square wedges into round holes. No surprise they don't fit well and as a result the stand is wobbly. For the price I didn't expect much. I did expect something that could safely hold my collection on a wall. This does none of that.

sword display rack rates!
I was leery to order as I threw a useless one away that I got somewhere else last year. What a pleasant surprise! A real bargain!!!This sword display rack is perfect for smaller spaces. It is well made, sturdy & included all screws & mounts. We have it in black. It displays like a much more expensive one.The Sword rack is easy to assemble & mount in minutes.

Works well, not all that fancy.
This item has met its purpose. This was a gift for my Fiance and is proudly mounted in our dining room with all our swords. The design is simple, black, and smooth(feeling and looking.) Eventually we will want to get one that is more elegant and sturdier and made of better quality material. I do not regret this purchase.

Nice rack
It arrived within a week and was easy to assemble (I used a hot glue gun for added strength)...5 parts 4 screws....it comes with 4 slots on the back for attaching to 4 more provided screws set in a wall....but I used a pair of Lumb-R-Grip's to attach it to a sturdy book shelf for now (this also allows a 9th sword to rest on the Grips)....It is narrow but had no problem handling a full load of LOTR replicas of the short to midsize variety, a spear, and a quarterstaff....Val-A LRG-21240 Lumb-R-Grip Hanger Hook

Unusable as shipped
The first issue was some minor shipping damage. The parts ship in a long box with no real padding on the ends. The end of one part was crushed a little. Items appears to be made of some sort of particle board, but almost like hardened cardboard (only a lot thicker). The bigger problem is that the holes on the top horizontal board are not cut such that enough passes through the side supports. That is, well under half the hole on each side is visible on the outside of the side supports at the top once the top support is in place. This makes it impossible to insert the pegs to lock it all together. It is not worth the cost or trouble to return it. And, when I get time, I can make it all work. It is just a pain to have to do so.
