Couldn't read on Kindle, tiny, unadjustable font
This review is NOT for the content of the book, for I couldn't begin to tell you what the content of the book was. The font is minuscule, and unable to be adjusted. The font button on my Kindle Paperwhite was greyed out. I contacted customer service for advice. Together we deleted and re-downloaded the file. Rebooted my Kindle. Deleted the book from my account entirely and re-purchased it. None of that helped. I also tried downloading it onto other Kindles I own. On the 2nd Generation Kindle (the really old, chunky white one with 3G and the toggle switch) it had the same problem. On my other Kindle (no keyboard, no touch) the book shows up sideways. It's not quite as small, but it cannot be rotated right side up. There's just something wrong with the file. No other reviewers have mentioned it, so I thought I'd put it out there. I will check back for an update and adjust my review as appropriate.

Good book, bad kindle version
My poor eyes are hurting, but I’ve just finished the book. Honestly I didn’t think I would. I read on my phone, and after figuring out that this kindle book is some non-adjustable, image-based, all-pdf hard to read thing, I almost gave up on it. However, the premise was good and left me curious and wanting more, so I continued. The story is unlike anything I’ve read, and I really liked seeing the world through Claire’s eyes. I found the characters are well-written, and the storytelling engaging. I would definitely recommend this book. I do have some issues with parts of it — there were some hard eyerolls at certain actions/ reactions from the characters. Also, really not a fan of promoting food waste as a means to get stuff off your chest, especially when said “food” comes at such heavy price to the animals involved, and to the environment. It’s a bad message to the younger audience of this book. But food wasting and animal suffering aside, the story was really cute. Also, I enjoyed the graphics in the book. This probably makes a lovely paperback, although the kindle version is too hard to read. I downloaded it while it was free so I’m not complaining (too much), but I would recommend trying a sample to check whether the problem has been fixed; otherwise buy the paperback. The photo I added is a screenshot of my phone; this is the actual size of the font I was reading on a 4” screen!

Social-media, a twist I didn't see coming, and a slow-burn romance
I loved this book so much, I read through it in two days. Since birth, Claire's and Poppy's lives have been documented online by their mom with her mom blog and social media presence—something that became a family business. While Poppy wants to capitalize on that success with their own vlog and reality show, Claire is sick of the spotlight and online trolls that come with it. When new boy Rafael sits with Claire at lunch one day, it's her chance to have someone get to know her without having read about her entire life online; it's her chance to really be seen. There were so many things to love about this book. I LOVED the slow-burn romance. Kara McDowell is a master at it. I loved the questions it raises about social media and its roll in our lives. I loved the family dynamics—both the twin dynamics and the mother-daughter relationship that had me in tears by the end. This book gave me all the feels: I cried, I actually laugh out loud, and my stomach flipped over the YA romance so many times throughout the book. I can't wait to see what comes next from this author. She's one to watch!!

the YA social media book you've been waiting for
I was lucky enough to receive an advance copy from the publisher. JUST FOR CLICKS is a funny, romantic look at life behind the mommy blog--with a twist in the middle you won't see coming. Recommended for teen readers and anyone who has been known to peruse a lifestyle or mommy blog a time or two. After I finished the advance copy, I had to order a final version copy for myself. The packaging from Amazon was great, the book arrived in perfect condition.

Decent story,
Claire Dixon never asked to be famous. Unfortunately, her mom Ashley became an internet celebrity while blogging about fashion long before Claire and her twin Poppy were even born, and everyone loved hearing about the babies as well. And from that point, it was all too easy for Ashley to capitalize on people's interest by having the twins in fashion photos and starting their own vlog. Now Claire is 17, just counting the days until she can naturally cut things off by going to college. After all, no one will expect her to stick around...will they?Meanwhile, Claire learns a shocking secret about her family, one which changes everything that she thinks she knows. Now the real question is, how does she move forward from this?I have to give the author credit...the major plot twist is one I truly never saw coming. In addition, Claire is a likable and relatable character with whom readers will empathize. That said...the Kindle version of this book is HORRIBLE! Literally, it is often unreadable, in a strange, tiny font that cannot be magnified. I was forced to skip over the text messages entirely, as I was actually straining my eyes painfully yet still not able to make out more than a couple of words. PLEASE change this ASAP or you will lose a lot of potential readers.
