Not sure about the negative reviews but I’m glad I did not let that affect my decision on purchasing this desk. I mean, I almost didn’t bc of the negative reviews but I’m glad I went ahead with the buy anyway. I did buy the extended warranty/insurance for it which was like $30-$35 extra so maybe that assured that I get a good product? Idk but anytime I make a purchase over $150 I tend to get the insurance/warranty if offered so I don’t end up mad later spending all that money.Anyway, desk came a day early from the scheduled date which was a plus and even better, I’m so glad the delivery guy actually carried it all the way up to my second floor apartment which was a first. For some reason, these delivery people act like they can’t bring my stuff up to the second floor when they were able to carry it into their cars and anticipate if they could make the front door delivery or not. Then I have to call Amazon n complain n then call one of my cousins to come help me bc I can’t carry it up by myself. Anyway, I was able to put this desk together no problem by myself. It was actually way easier than the bookcase I had to put together.So, assembly was easy breezy and it looks just like the picture. Only thing is I wish that pull out drawer pulled n pushed in more smoothly but other than that great desk! Also, it has like a citronella scent to it which is nice. It’s faded away but I can still kind of smell it which I don’t mind at all.Really happy with this desk and highly recommend :)!

Desk is sturdy enough (and cute!) but the pieces are so beat up! The package arrived just fine so it must have been damaged during packing. The edges have the paint/coating chipping off. Super disappointed. If it wasn’t such a hassle to return something so big/heavy it would be going back.

Very nice, heavy duty desk. Just what I needed for my office corner!

My desk arrived a little beat up (Not sure who to blame for that...shipment during COVID have been scary). Over all nice desk (that will be used in my home office), easy to assemble (I did it myself with very little help from husband. Still not sure if the desk is worth the $200 price tag.

All the reviews were correct. Super cheap quality for how expensive it is, half of the pieces were peeling off before i got it put together. The directions have you put the drawer part together upside down so I had to redo it. Very cute so i kept it but quality definitely doesn't match the price.

First off, this will not be verified. I just built this for my girlfriend and it was purchased under her account.1. One of the metal bars was missing. It’s not crucial and the company should have it out to us within a week2. A few of the holes for the wooden pegs were not drilled deep enough. I had to re drill them.3. Four of the Cam-Lock holes were not drilled through to the locking chamber. I had to re drill those.4. The holes drilled for the handle screws were a few mm off. I had to bore out those holes a bit to be able to get the screw to connect with the handle.5. Did not include instructions. Had to call customer service and have them emailed.6. It’s cute!7. Seems sturdy enough, but I there’s no way it would survive a hefty knock from either of its ends.Pretty shoddy all in all, hell of a way to spend a morning!Would not recommend. Just a step above the cheaper stuff at Target, a step below Ikea.

The top piece trim was cracked and peeling like it was dry rotted. The rest of desk was fine. To far in on assembling to return.

This product arrived to me very damaged. The white part is chipping all over the place. There are scratches all over the white table as well. Not at all worth 200 I paid for it. Too large and too much of a hassle to return it as well. Not happy at all.
