Although I can't attest to how it cuts a pizza, this gift for my brother looks AWESOME! I can't wait to send it to him. It's beautiful.First, I was surprised the cutter came in such a nice-looking, and sturdy, box--a gray-black box top with a white bottom, and on the top of the box is a silver drawing of the Enterprise pizza cutter and the words "USS Enterprise NCC 1701," and, also has "Star Trek" written on one of the sides, etc, love it!-- so it is presented as a nice gift before even opened. If he wants to, my brother can keep the cutter in the box to protect its beautitude :D - I expected, for the price, some cheap box or for it to be wrapped in bubble wrap, but no, it's in that nice sturdy box nestled in with plenty of padding. Then, the nice box is set into a plain white box so it keeps the nicer box unscathed--nice touch. Amazon then places the entire thing into their iconic Amazon package box, which always arrives nice and safe.The pizza cutter is shiny and geeky and wonderful and has some heft to it. The blade seems sharp enough and has the "USS Enterprise NCC 1707" written on the blade, which is shiny enough to see myself in. Another great thing is that the blade is larger than I expected, and I'd been searching for a larger pizza blade, so another nice surprise. I really will be happy to send this to him for Christmas. And I can't believe I purchased it for just over $20 counting shipping. Holding it in my hands, it feels like it will be great to cut with.Does my review sound enthusiastic? Well, because it is -- I honestly am so excited to send this to him. Actually, the photo didn't do it justice, for the entire gift, package and cutter, looks even better than I expected.One final thing - as is the case with 99.9% of what I order from Amazon - it came with lightning speed!

For instance, I once told my family I liked cat stuff when I was very young... I received cat-themed gifts until my 25th birthday from an aunt. Don't be that relative.But! If you know a Trekkie who likes to cook, I think this is just the coolest thing.My boyfriend and now, myself, DO enjoy being Trekkies. It's a connection he had with his father who passed away recently: bonding over late-night Star Trek episodes, getting to stay up late when his older brothers had school early in the morning. The beginnings of a geek.So, for my boyfriend's birthday I purchased this pizza cutter and the Star Trek cookbook. He was SO excited. It has a very practical use, which I think is essential as we live pretty minimalist - not much extra room for things without purpose! So, as far as memorabilia goes, this has been such a great purchase and en excuse to make good pizza at home instead of overpaying for delivered crap.It's very well made, beautifully shiny and comes in a great box that you might like to use to display it. It's pretty heavy material, extremely sharp and does a great job of cutting pizzas, NOT just for show!Enjoy! Live long and pizza!

I purchased this pizza cutter for my brother for Christmas. We are both huge Trekkies and I love the idea of combining pizza and Star Trek. Duh.Upon receiving it, it comes in a fancy box and it is well packaged. The pizza cutter is very shiny and comes with all the details that would make a Trekkie like me go nuts. It has the NCC-1701 designation and it has the Enterprise details perfect.My brother loved it when he got it and immediately wanted to make us a pizza for dinner to try it out. Functionally, this thing is a great pizza cutter and it it quite sharp and the blade turns very easily. It made the pizza taste even better because it was chopped by the Enterprise!The only thing that I would have liked to see is it being dishwasher safe. You have to hand wash this every time to maintain the quality of the finish. But this isn't such a big deal. Just a couple minutes with soap and water and it's clean and ready for warp speed pizza cutting once more.This is a great gift for pizza lovers and Trekkies alike! I just need to get myself one now!

This product arrived to me in good condition, within the time frame that was quoted. It's very surprisingly large, even the pictures don't do it justice. It's heavy and has some lovely detail work on the ship. It is something a Star Trek fan could easily put on a shelf to display (No one would even suspect it's a pizza cutter.) The box is even good quality, hefty with the ship fitting snugly in a cut-out foam insert. In my opinion, it looks like something that is an expensive gift.It doesn't look as if this ship would actually make a very good pizza cutter. It's bulky and not terribly comfortable to hold at the angle it would take to cut pizza. But it is very attractive and no doubt would be appreciated by any fan for the sheer novelty of the item.I guess it's not too surprising that it does look like a toy, however it is CLEARLY marked that it is a "pizza cutter", not a toy and not for children. (I'm surprised at all the negative comments about this.) The blade is very thin and very sharp, just like any pizza cutter. If you know your gift's recipient is not in the habit of even glancing at the box, you might warn them it's sharp. Good grief, though. People should have some common sense.

I got a couple of these, one for my wife who asked for it for the holidays. First impression upon opening the box: This thing is highly polished, heavy duty gleaming stainless steel. Attention to detail and finish is so high, it seems like a luxury product. The cutting wheel is super sharp, so be careful handling it. I wouldn't put this thing in the dishwasher. Overall, a nice design that is very well excecuted. It appears that it should hold up very well if taken care of properly. Only minor caveat is that the twin jet engine design of the handle makes it harder to grip naturally compared to a normal pizza cutter, but if it didn't have this design, it wouldn't look like the Star Trek USS Enterprise.

This pizza cutter is amazing! I got it for my husband and he loves it. It looks great, it does a great job cutting pizza, it’s a must have for any pizza loving Trekkie out there! Would definitely recommend.

Lo seguivo da molto tempo e finalmente l'h trovato ad un prezzo abbordabileBellissima la confezione tanto per iniziare, un elegante cofanetto con l'immagine dell'Enterprise e imbottitura in schiuma quasi fosse un modellino da sistemare in bacheca.Il taglia pizza è grande ma comodo da tenere in mano, robusto, completamente in metallo e rifinito nei minimi particolari.Un pezzo fantastico da tenere in cucina, quasi da esposizione più che da "Pizza".

This is amazing! My friend loves Star Trek and I needed to get her a housewarming present. This is absolutely perfect! It was delivered really quickly and packaged brilliantly. It comes in a lovely presentation box and looks really expensive. The cutter itself is very sharp and of really good quality. It’s quite heavy but in a sturdy way. It’s not flimsy and you don’t feel like you will break it whilst using it. It would also look great on the kitchen side as more of a focal piece. Great present for any Star Trek fan!
