I bought these because I wanted to be able keep my earrings in 24/7 as taking out 10 piercings a night was too much work with long nails. I did notice these backs felt looser on two of my earrings so I cut a regular soft earring back in half to hold earring in place and put these on top. Worked perfectly! I could feel the tips of my earrings with my finger through the backs if I tried, but through sleeping I couldn't feel a thing! I flip back and forth on both of my sides and these made me feel like I wasn't wearing earrings at all! All stay on through the night, including the ones I thought were a little looser. Am going to buy another pack now that I know that they work for backups!

I had ordered a new set of pearls a few months ago that came with these new backs. I had never used them before but they were surprisingly comfortable to wear. I accidentally pulled off one of the backs and lost it. The company that made the pearls didn’t have any replacements so I was looking for another option when I found these. The earring back is surrounded by half of a clear silicone ball.

My niece struggles with the standard metal back posts, but these are perfect for her to swap out and comfortably put on and wear her posts.

Earring backs that stay on

The metal inside still turned colors. Definitely not sterling silver. They are comfortable and stay in pretty well. If you have a metal allergy do not buy though!
