To thick to be a pocket dictionary

Nice for your backpack but not good for your backpocket. When I was a child... (Said with a deep wise voice!) I used to carry pocket dictionaries all the time. Back then (said with a long lost nostalgic voice) pocket dictionaries where exactly what they were called, POCKET Dictionaries. They had small print so they could fit many words into the book to keep the dictionary thin. But no all of these so called pocket dictionaries of today are thick and fat and full of large print.
