Good set for my small kitchen
I was able to acquire some good quality knives to use in my kitchen, I also purchased this set of cutting boards to use with them. I've only had these boards and the knives in use for several days but it has been quite a lot in prepping my winter supply of canned and frozen foods. I am pleased so far with the quality and usefulness of them, the bonding seems very sturdy, they are thick enough, but not heavy, nice smooth, flawless surface and edges and the hand holds are not overly large, so more cutting surface. Following the care instructions provided for the cutting boards, at this time, I feel they will hold up well and so far are not as detrimental to my nice knives as the other plastic & wood boards I have so I think I will stick with these. I have a small kitchen and the medium and large boards work well for me and the counter space I have, I don't mind clearing my chopping more often if it is a real big job. I like that the smallest is perfect for chopping herbs or slicing a bit of cheese, fruit, or onion, etc. for my lunch right at the table. I received an email from Premium Lifestyle Products after purchase asking if I'd received my boards and asking if the products were meeting my needs along with HELPFUL instructions and contact addresses if there were any problems. I appreciated this as it gives me the impression that the company actually believes in "customer care", if their products were up to standard and a willingness to fix any problems. As time will be the deciding factor as to if these cutting boards were a good choice after all is the reason I've not given them 5 stars.

Bamboo Trio
Looking for the right cutting board became a headache in no time. Some too expensive, some made of materials that today are considered below par, some not recommended for certain kind of knives. Looking for a safe board where I could use my very good looking ceramic knives, these keep coming back on repeated searches. I knew the size of the largest of the 3 was not very large. Still, after long consideration I opted for the Bamboo Cutting Board - 3-piece Bamboo Cutting Board Set by Premium Bamboo - Eco-friendly - Antimicrobial Cutting Board - Easy to Clean and Maintain - Safe on Knives - Strong Wood Bamboo Cutting Boards That Will Last - This Premium Bamboo Cutting Board Set Includes a Large, Medium, and Small in One Package - 100% Money Back Guarantee! (what a title!), knowing that bamboo is considered safe for ceramic knives, easy to clean and maintain, and the price was affordable. Finally I got to use them with our new knives. Cut some almost frozen fish in the largest, an onion and a tomato in the middle size, while the baby one felt left out. Still the jury is out as to when that one will get used. Perhaps a garlic clove, being so little?Yes, I could have went for the more expensive kind, the one they make from the same material they use for skating boards?, but I kept the price in mind and purchased this set. They look good, solid and well constructed or cut, I do not know, but the surfaces are smooth and for now it looks like they will do the job. I do not predict any surprises as to durability, they look sturdy enough. 4 Stars for the Bamboo Trio.

Not happy with my purchase EDIT: I'm happier with my purchase
EDIT: I bumped the stars up on these. After learning how to actually handle bamboo cutting boards correct, my previous post was incorrect! The only thing I stand by at this point is the product isn't very grippy when cutting. I adjusted my technique. But if you're new to culinary arts -- or attempting to cook -- just be mindful of that!Original bad review:Ok - These things are truly low quality. I should have been suspicious about the two emails I received making sure I addressed any issues with them prior to leaving a poor review before I even received them! There was also a little flier included in the shipment that asked me to call them if there were any issues with the product. Those pre-emptive efforts didn't work on me. And, I will speak the truth:1) Don't ever try to put these in the dishwasher. The larger one literally fell apart and I had to toss it. ***edit: I washed it without verifying they were dishwasher safe!2) They're not very grippy. This is the biggest downside of these cutting boards. Again, I'm not a chef, so maybe my expectations were too high or not appropriate for this product, but that alone made them almost unusable.Overall, these seem cheaply made, aren't sturdy, slide around counter-tops and overall, I'm not happy with them.

Works As Advertised
A cutting board is a cutting board... The price is good and they look well constructed. A bit smaller than they look but that's okay for me, I have two big cutting board's already. The biggest has a workable area about the size of a clipboard; you can't cut above the handle effectively. They're pretty dry so the first thing was to coat them with mineral oil. All wood cutting boards should be oiled but Bamboo because it's composed of multiple laminated parts can crack easily with repeated washing and drying. Keeping them hydrated with oil helps to prevent that. You can buy oil designed (marketed) for butcher blocks but mineral oil does the same thing for between 2-4$. Don't use cooking oil because they go rancid and contaminate the board and don't use anything like Linseed or Tung oil (POISON). Food grade mineral oil can be found cheap at just about any pharmacy and has been used for years by many people. It's sold as a "lubricant laxative" but don't worry the trace amount you WILL consume won't cause the laxative effect.I'll wipe the oil on somewhat thick but not dripping (too much) wait 10-15 minutes and wipe the excess off. Let it dry for several hours and wipe off whatever hasn't absorbed into the wood and leave that for about a day before using again; repeat again when needed....
