Great Hooks.
Recently stopped shopping at WalMart due to their non-Conservative policies on the 2nd Amendment, so needed to get fishing gear somewhere else. For example, WM would sell 5 trebles for $4.46, very ridiculous seeing as how steel is making a comeback in the US right?! Yeah, more BS from another lying politician. With these hooks, the competition beats everyone else, capitalism allows this to happen. Got the red hooks last night, first treble and caught 3 small small hammerhead sharks, they have tough mouths and they couldn't spit the hook. Their teeth scraped the red off the hook, but that's how it goes. Really great deal for the money.

Great value for the money?
I bought size 10 trebles to use as stinger hooks for kokanee. These are a medium wire, suitable for light to medium freshwater applications. The points are sharper than, say, old-school Mustad hooks, but they aren't as sticky sharp as premium VMC or Gamakatsu trebles. For my purposes, they're more than adequate.UPDATE: I've used these hooks for several weeks of kokanee fishing, and I'm less in love with them. I fished them head-to-head with Owner trebles, size 10, and the fish landing ratio with the Owners was more than twice that of these no-brand hooks. I looked at the cheap hooks with a magnifying glass to figure out what was going on. The grind on the points is inconsistent. About 25% of the points are either too sharply tapered or slightly rounded over. Now, I sort through the hooks to find the ones with proper grinds. Those work fine.If I were tournament fishing (or if I took kokanee fishing more seriously), I would stick with premium trebles like Owner or Gamakatsu. The thin-diameter high-carbon steel plus the chemically sharpened points definitely improve penetration, which translates to more fish in the net. However, I frequently need to discard hooks (of any brand) because they get dull or bent out after a few days of fishing. I can't afford to regularly toss hooks that cost a buck a piece. So I live with the cheap no-brand hooks. That's OK. The cheapies work well enough if I take the time to pick out the good ones. They're still a good value, even if I have to discard a quarter to half of them.

Nice nice baby
Not gonna say they are perfect, but at this price, the one that was defective was a small price to pay. Quality is very good. Price is unbeatable

Very small not good for large mouth bass.
They seem fine, but they are smaller than I expected. They would not work for largemouth bass fishing.

OK for the money
Out of 100 hooks, approximately 5 % cannot used because of one of the hooks on a treble not formed properly and cannot be sharpened to a usable condition. Many of the trebles have very sharp hooks and others I will touch up with a file to get them very sharp. Mostly size 12 trebles for small custom painted crankbaits. I will continue to use these hooks unless I find a better alternative.
