This thing is so fast, and so cheap! I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and have always used the charger that came with it. After several years of use, i noticed that my phone kept saying that it's doing slow charging, and to switch to the charging cord that came with my phone - except i was already using that cord/charger. Then after another few months, one day it just stopped charging. I freaked out thinking the plug on my phone is dead, or something equally horrible because my phone is my life (how sad this is the current generation norm :( ) and had all kinds of information that i'd need. I ended up switching just the cord section with a USB2.0 plug from something else and that worked fine, so it was definitely just the cord that was broken.I bought this since it's cheap and i could use the second one as a backup or use at work. I was kind of surprised because the cord is a LOT thicker than my original samsung one and also pretty stiff. This felt like heavy duty HDMI cables (except it's not). However, i was so impressed by the charging speed! My phone did not complain about slow charging, and it somehow feels like it charged faster than my original samsung cable (before it broke)? The plugs on either side appear to be made of much higher quality material and are very sturdy.It doesn't look as nice as my samsung original but who cares, it's cheap, i get 2 of them, and it does the job super well!

had a western digital passport drive that either refused to be recognized as a usb 3.0 drive (with the cable that came with the drive) or just didn't recognize at all in windows (samsung note 3 usb 3.0 cable). Well this fixed it. Has no problems now. No long delay in being recognized. Not sure about longevity or durability but at this point I'm happy. Well packaged in individual ziploc bags. They seem well constructed with nice heavy gauge wire it seems. I would still recommend staying away from the wd passport series as they are not simple laptop drives inside with a sata connector. Seagate uses samsung spinpoint drives inside and are actually cheaper than buying the bare drives.

These 6.ft cables are perfect for people who’s not looking for the top of the line products. I use these 6 ft cables to run an external SSD & an external DVD reader on an Alienware system. I have no complaint with them,

Great quality cords and they work perfectly to charge and transfer files to a Samsung Galaxy S5. It seems these 3rd party USB cables are thicker than the original USB to comes with the phone. The USB cable made by Amazon Basics is also thick, thicker than the one. However, they do work perfectly just a little too cumbersome which reduces ease of use as for as mobility is concerned.

Not a limber cable, but it has survived me shutting the door on it several times with no problems.It is a very strong cable with large and strong wires, but they are not that flexible.the only issue with it is it is limber as uncooked spaghetti, it is a very stiff cable, and will slightly but if you need a durable cable in a more abusive environment, this cable would be hard to beat..However, if you like something soft and flexible, and non restraining as you use it, this would not be a good choice.In short, if you are in construction, and may slam the truck door occasionally on the cable, this cable has lived through it for me many times.However, most ladies instantly recognize the cables stiffness over the original cable and tend to not like it. I would also add this cable is probably too stiff for comfortable office work or home use.

The cable is long, thick, solid, and feels nice to the touch. However, when using it with my Note 3, it barely charges the phone. With this cable, I have to charge many times longer than with another shorter cable I have laying around. I wanted a nicer longer, stronger cable, but there's no point in using it if my phone won't charge.UPDATE: Nice customer service. A replacement order was sent to me. Although the cable charges a bit slow, it's good enough and has a nice build, and good customer service.

These are pretty standard cords for the S5 (and whatever else it takes - I don't know). Why I purchased this is mostly due to the cost; it is cheaper than the stock Samsung cables. At least for me a cable is a cable so I shop based on price. I was also tempted to get the similar product by Cable Matters, a two-pack of 3ft cables. These guys are 6ft long and they were a dollar more than the 3ft. That's twice the cable for an extra dollar.Upon getting the cables I cannot find anything to complain about. They seem thick and durable, like they won't crimp or tear throughout regular use. The fit into the phone is VERY snug and fits better than my old stock cable. I'm sure this should help wear and tear on my phone itself. the same goes for the USB charging/data end; it fits perfectly. All in all I have no gripes about these cables and with the price I feel like it's a great deal!

I was excited to find this cable, as it was much less expensive than the Samsung replacement cable for my Samsung Galaxy S5. It appears to be sturdy and well made, but the rectangular plastic leading up to the connector is so bulky on this cord, that I couldn't connect this to my phone in its case.That's not really a defect, but I'm sure there are many others who will protect their electronics with a case. The factory cable that came with my phone has a much slimmer casing around the connecting ends and it fits my phone and my husband's Note 3 perfectly, but this is useless to me unless I want to remove my case every time I charge. My husband kept it for his Note, as he's opted not to use a case with his phone, and the cable works adequately.

Whether you believe it or not my wifes Galaxy Note 3 is still working no issues at all, I've asked her if she wants me to replace it and she said she'll use it until it dies/she breaks it.I think she's biting her tongue on this one because it's been years lol...That said she uses these cords to quick charge it and they work wonderfully, she's had them for months and months with no issues at all, if they ever do break which seems unlikely at this point I'll order some more.Highly recommended.

These are good quality cables. I have two Seagate portable drives that are around a year old. The cables are shot on both already. (got WD drives more than 5 years old and the cables are fine, just sayin') Anyhow, I was concerned that I might have power issues when using longer cables on drives that get all of their power from the USB port. The 3 foot cables work just fine on my ThinkPad. The ends appear to be good quality. They plug in and hold tightly. I am ordering another set just to replace shorter cables on two other drives. If I have any problems I will update this review.

Nice sturdy cables, both of the ones I ordered work and the length means I get out of cuddling when they wife needs a charge on the cell.

These cables are quite "beefier" and longer than the ones that came with the drives that I purchased. They engage into the ports quite well and I have had no issues whatsoever in the month I have been using them.
