Rain-Mate Compact Travel Umbrella - Pocket Portable Folding Windproof Mini Umbrella - Auto Open and Close Button and 9 Rib Reinforced Canopy (Blue Sky)

While I (thankfully) haven't yet had the chance to test this umbrella in high winds / torrential rain, it seems like a very well built umbrella.The handle is nice to hold, the button makes it very easy to use, and the colours of the rainbow fabric are perfect.Assuming it holds up in the winds and rain, (and if not that the company honour their lifetime warranty), then I am one happy customer.

My last umbrella died a death only after 1 week, so I decided to invest in a decent model. Found this umbrella and initially, I wasn't too sure but placed my order and thought that if I did not like it, I could always send it back. All I can say that this umbrella is the best I have bought so far. I had occasion to use it during a rainstorm a couple of weeks ago. This umbrella opens and shuts automatically by pressing either the up or down buttons. It opens out to be a very sturdy and good sized canopy. Whilst walking in the wind and the rain, it held firm. This is a strong umbrella and I would highly recommend it

A very sturdy and good quality umbrella, just a little heavier than expected and not quite what I would call compact. It is the average size of a non golfing size umbrella. I was looking for something shorter and lighter for my daughter to keep in her school bag. I’ll happily use this one instead.

My sister recently purchased one of these Umbrellas and was really impressed by what Rain-Mate had to offer through their STRONG, STURDY, EFFECTIVE and EASY-TO-USE Travel Umbrella. I was so impressed by the product (when the family got caught in a heavy thunderstorm on vacation), I had to buy one for myself. I haven't been given the opportunity to use MY OWN Rain-Mate Travel Umbrella as of yet but I'm sure that given time it will be put to the test soon enough as Ireland is notorious for it's cold, wet climate. Very impressed, GREAT PRODUCT!

My previous umbrella (Fulton) had become completely useless after blowing inside out so many times in the recent storms. This one looked stronger so I thought I'd try it. It's definitely more robust than the previous one and I'm very pleased with it. The mechanism is smooth and works very well. The canopy is larger than most other folding umbrellas, which means that it's bigger when it's rolled up (12" x 2"), so check you have room for it if you're planning to carry it around in your bag.

This works very well and i like the dual action, press to erect, press to drop down.It stiid up to strong winds well.The one think i didn't like was after a few weeks use, orange water dropped out from the inside, it was rusting.This stained the fabric in places.Never had an umbrella start to rust on the frames before. Are they not meant to resist wet ?

Like the colour and material. Well built and good handle. It is quite wide and protect you from side rain. Used first time today with a bit of light rain and some wind. I was worried most about the wind. Let's see with more strong wind but it looks promising.

For reasons not explained, the company that supplied this umbrella, is dissatisfied with my five stars and has emailed twice for a commentary on it. I have received this umbrella. It opens when I depress the button and it closes when I close it. In the time between me receiving the umbrella and now, it has not rained. The thing about umbrellas is that you only know if they are any good under certain climatic conditions. However, credit where it is due, I've been in jobs where I have had to do things that I was not comfortable in doing and they were far, far worse than asking me for a review about an umbrella that I have not used. Long live Upper Echelon Products and their rubbish name, their use of the word 'expedite', their use of exclamation marks in marketing, mixing companies with brands and the phrase 'reach out for me' which was better left to Dionne Warwick. Amen.

I bought 2 of these umbrellas last Aug 2022. Yellow for me, and black for my son. I convinced him he's not too cool for an umbrella... plus he needs to preserve his hair-do, right?! As a college student, he drives to school and walks to class, and it's pretty rainy and blustery around here a lot of the time (Cleveland). So the black umbrella was used often; the canopy/ribs all held up great, but at some point it would not stay down or close. Then the handle got loose and wobbly, so I reached out to the company, and they were eager to help. They kindly sent a replacement umbrella, after I described the problems. We got it a couple days ago, and now we're back in business! The umbrella itself is sturdy (not cheapy), the color was true to the picture, and I like the handle as it's easy to hold onto, slightly grippy and kinda soft texture. Hard to explain, but it's very comfortable in my hand. Not slippery, if that helps. I love that it's not frustrating to get back into the cover, it goes in pretty easily. Very happy with our umbrellas and the customer service was fantastic. They kept in touch with us to follow up and make sure we didn't forget to send details of the problems, and to be sure we were satisfied. Yea!
