Le Nozze di Figaro: Vocal Score (Ricordi Opera Vocal Score)

Would not repurchase. It is missing important recitatives I needed to learn for the role of Barbarina, especially in Act III. Wouldn’t recommend Ricordi if you are looking to learn a whole role in a Mozart opera. Schirmer and Barenreiter are better, but the latter is too expensive for my budget. I ordered this about 6 months back to learn some scenes as Susanna and it did the job, but still not a great choice for a whole opera. I have Schirmer on the way as I write this, so I can speed learn the missing recitatives in 3 weeks! Ricordi is great for Bel Canto Operas, however.

Just received it today and followed the duet : ' Sull'aria ? Che soave seffiretto ' with Susanna and the Countess . Fabulous vocal score in the original Italian , which is the poetry of the opera . Very clear printing .

Really good

I was very excited for this to come in, and I'm following through the score and I notice that in the recitative 'va lá vecchia pedante' (page 47) part of cherubinos vocal line (about 3 bars) is not in the book. I am willing to overlook this as I found the measures needed online, but I hope there aren't more issues with the book in its entierity or it will have to be returned. Is it possible my book is misprinted? Who knows. Just carefully read your score and check for issues.

I highly recommend this score - it is by far the best piano / vocal. Wish I would have bought the hard cover

Came with quite a few ripped pages.. unfortunately I don't have to time to order another one, and luckily, it doesn't hinder me from learning my music.

I wouldn't reccommend Ricordi for Mozart repertoires..
