This monitor is actually quite outstanding as a portable gaming monitor, relative to other options at its size and thickness.Pros:+ Low input lag (similar to ASUS EVO tournament monitor)+ Solid touchscreen+ Direct plug-and-play support for Nintendo Switch+ Low power consumption, can be powered from a PS4 or Nintendo Switch USB port with correct settings+ Strong, removable magnetic case that doubles as a stand+ Extremely thinNeutral:~ Some amount of ghosting (pixel response time; seller quotes 20ms, which seems reasonably accurate)Cons:- Extremely quiet audioThis monitor has an input lag of around 10ms, on par with the ASUS monitor used for the EVO fighting game tournament. There's some noticeable ghosting that takes around 7-20ms to clear (this is the pixel response rate, or GTG, which the seller has stated at 20ms--quite accurate!), depending on the colours and whatnot, but it's somehow more clear than the Eviciv/Uperfect monitors with similar ghosting. It tends to take around 15-16ms to more or less clear in most situations, which is not great (desktop monitors tend to have 2-4ms pixel response rates), but somewhat acceptable for casual 60fps gameplay, including fighting games.The case is quite sturdy, and significantly better than the ones that come on the Eviciv/Uperfect monitors. It's on par with the case that comes with Sibolan monitors, except unlike the Sibolan case, the one included with the WIMAXIT is entirely detachable. The magnets used in the case are quite strong, and it seems fairly sturdy. Unlike all the other monitors I've tested with this form factor, the WIMAXIT comes with rubber feet already attached to the bottom of the monitor. This keeps it stable when the case is folded back as a stand, and is a welcome quality of life addition to the design.This screen has many options included in the on-screen display menu (OSD). The notable one for me was the overdrive option, which the Eviciv/Uperfect monitors didn't have. I'm not sure if it made much difference, but I've got it enabled for my testing and I've not noticed any negative impact.The touchscreen is good and works well with Samsung DeX. There's really not much else to say about it. It worked through the protective plastic stuck to the screen when I received the unit, as well, so it seems reasonably sensitive.The USB-C port supports direct plug-and-play with the Nintendo Switch, which is a very nice feature to have!With brightness turned down to 20% and volume at 50%, I was able to power the monitor from the Nintendo Switch dock and from a PS4 over their USB ports. This isn't an extremely useful feature, but it's also pretty nice to know it doesn't consume much power.The only major downside to this monitor is the quiet audio, which comes in at maybe 20-25% the loudness of other portable monitors with 2x1W speakers. The audio quality itself isn't particularly impressive, but given it's so quiet, it's unlikely many people will use it without just plugging in headphones or an external speaker instead. For video games, it's quite possible that just raising the volume in the game to maximum will make the audio somewhat acceptably loud.---All told, though the monitor is not perfect, it seems like one of the best choices for this form factor if you're planning to do latency-sensitive gaming on it.The only monitors that might be better than it for pure gaming are the HORI portable monitor (similar input lag, 5-8ms pixel response time according to other reviewers) or the Gechic 1503E/H portable monitors (9-11ms input lag depending on model, seller quoted 9ms pixel response time). Both of those monitors are thicker and heavier, and have rather different feature sets when compared to this monitor. The HORI is a generally poor monitor, with sub-par viewing angles and resolution (768p), but it does have full-sized HDMI ports and dual audio out jacks alongside better built-in speakers. The Gechic is actually fairly good, with louder speakers and a dedicated, built-in stand, but it's heavier and slightly thicker (18mm with the case/cover attached).So far, this monitor seems to be the best of its particular type and form factor, and I'd recommend it over the alternatives (Sibolan, Eviciv, Uperfect, Cocopar, etc.). I'll be putting this through some testing at the local arcade by having fighting gamers play matches on it, and will update this with overall impressions afterwards.

Low power

The WIMAXIT portable monitor with touch screen is exactly what I wanted! The 15.6 inch screen is huge and has a nice, slim design! The 1080P resolution is wonderful, but it is the HDR feature that sets it apart from the other monitors! HDR gives it the brightness and visual clarity that I am used to from my cell phone, but displayed on a 15.6 inch touchscreen! It hooks up quickly and easily to my cell phone and even charges the phone when the monitor's power cord is used! I highly recommend it! The screen reacts perfectly to touch commands! Very happy with this purchase!

The media could not be loaded.  We got a few of Wimaxit's portable monitors in our office, so when I wanted to get one for myself, the decision was easy.This thing is relatively sleek looking and light. It does come with a cover that works as a stand as well. Overall the look matches the price tag.Out of box I was able to get the screen set up as a second monitor with no problem. No dead pixels, and pretty bright and clear. But for some reason I just couldn't get the touchscreen to work with my laptop, so I contacted the seller. They got back to me really fast and helped me troubleshooting until it worked. So apparently I need to connect the HDMI to HDMI first, then USB C to USB C. In my video I had the power plugged in, just in case, but it still worked after I unplugged the charging cord.This is a solid product and the company has great customer service.

The media could not be loaded.  This monitor is amazing! It can literally be used for pretty much anything from gaming, to your computer or hooking up your phone to it to have a bigger screen. I absolutely love the touch screen ability of this monitor. I do a lot of video editing and photo editing and being able to have a second monitor that i can control with the touch of my finger is absolutely game changing. The color and display of this monitor is amazing as well. While editing my photos and color grading my videos The monitor was very color accurate. The HDR technology of this monitor produces such a clean and crisp image. I would recommend this to anyone looking to add a monitor to their work station.

Im using this as a second monitor for my laptop or phone and it works very seamless, I use it with a Samsung device mainly for dex and work like a charm, also i connect external speakers as the built in the monitor are not good, the image quality is pretty solid, and the design is practical as it has the stand, i also wish the stand was sturdy and had different positions.Is bright enough for indoor use, and is very thin for transportation. a very good option to pair with a phone, especially if you have a DEX compatible device (Samsung Galaxy) .

I picked up the Wimaxit 15.6" portable touchscreen monitor. I was convinced this would be a game changer for me as I spend more than 80% of my time on the road. Here's the thing. The screen is great. However, the case/cover/stand is garbage. When closed, it doesn't stay covering the screen. It slides all over the place in the bag. Then, the worst part of the design is when you attempt to use it as a stand. There's no point in even trying. The stand will not keep the monitor standing up unless you, house-of-cards'esqu, you don't touch or even breath on the screen. If there's a bump to the table, it's going to fall. Had I known it would have been this useless, I would not have purchased it. I have attempted to reach out to both the seller and the manufacturer. Neither could be bothered to respond. If you don't plan to move and don't mind, I don't know, taping it to the wall (?), the screen itself is great. Otherwise, don't bother.
