L’Oréal Paris Colour Caresse Wet Shine Lip Stain, Berry Persistent, 0.21 Ounces

I ordered this based entirely on reviews, I normally would not buy anything called “lilac.” I’m a white person with a light complexion but I have a lot of color in my lips. This shade is just slightly darker than my natural lip color, with a bit of shine. It looks very natural and it isn’t sticky. So far it’s worn very well, much longer than a gloss. I’m not sure I’d call it a “stain,” per se, but I may not be the best judge because it’s so close to my lip color. I ordered another color and will review it when it comes. So far I’m really happy with this. UPDATED TO ADD: I bought the caramel color after trying lilac and it is also beautiful and comfortable to wear.

I usually Love all of L'oreal products. But this was honestly the worse lipgloss I have ever used. First it smells bad like chemicals. Second, it goes on SO weird, thick and wet at first, then immediately dry down to barely a sticky sheer coat. It feels terrible on the lips and is Not quality lip gloss like I've come to expect from L'oreal. On the second time around... I wanted to give it another try. I pulled the wand out and the sponge applicator broke off into the product. I was able to dig it out and still use the gloss. But it is a really poor quality lip gloss product. Very disappointing. The lipgloss casing was very pretty though...

I've purchased probably 7 over the past few years because the pigment is light, great colors offered (close to natural lips) and definitely because 1. the moisturize the lips and 2. they last a long time. Even after color fades, there's still a feeling that my lips have moisture, not dry and there's a little color left so I don't look bare/pale. They are easy to apply as well. This lip stain/gloss is good for me because I don't like being without something on my lips so I don't lick them and so that I have some natural color on them.

I love the color of this lip stain. Easy to apply, and feels good on my lips. As far as being a 'lip stain', I'm not excited about the length of staying power. I would call this more a lip gloss. Looks good on, but must be reapplied often.

I was expecting a color that was Ruby red, well not exactly as expected, but a good red. I have very fair skin, so it looks a little darker than I wanted, but not bad. I think this is a color that will work for everyone, red is a classic. It does look good. In pictures it will look ruby red though. It is a little glossy, but in a different texture than lip gloss, it feels like rubbery. Lasting power, cant really have a say. Just tried it. Is is not a matte color.

This product is the perfect in-between for anyone looking for lasting color on their lips. I've used these as my personal favorite for years, and my favorite hues are Everlasting Nude and Lilac Ever After for a natural wash. EN runs more orange-nude while LEA goes on more as a pinky-nude. After application, refrain from touching your lips together and give the product a moment to seal in the top layer. It will form a semi-budge proof layer and look lovely for a good chunk of time. No, this isn't like the MUFE lipstick that never ever comes off, but it gives the look of a gloss or balm with at least 60% added wear time, with much more if not eating oily foods. It also runs much more natural and doesn't dry out your lips like the ultra everything-proof products.

I liked the lipstick color and it lasted for several hours the 2 times I was able to use it, but when the applicators broke it broke off in the container so it was unusable after that. A waste of money!

You get what you pay for, as in this is a terrible product. I don't know how the other colors fare, but Berry Persistent smeared everywhere, while at the same time settling into lip lines I didn't know I had. I'm no stranger to lip stains, glosses, and liquid lipsticks. This is by far, the hardest one to apply. I bought it because of the many good reviews and I am incredibly disappointed. The only thing that somewhat worked was to apply it heavily on my lips, let it sit for a few minutes, then blot it dry. The stain it left behind stayed on for about a couple of hours. There are far better lip stains out there.

Purtroppo il colore è un po diverso dalle foto, in quanto invece d' essere un fucsia-rosso è fucsia- viola. Per il resto è abbastanza buono di qualità però essendo un prodotto di alcuni anni fa a me provoca allergia indossando.

I rarely wear lipstick because of the fade and transfer. Not a fan of most colours either. Well I'm a big fan of this stuff! It delivers far better than expected! I'm now regularly wearing it!
