Q: How long does it last? Will it come off on my bedding?

Hi Sarah, Thanks so much for reaching out to Bondi Sands 💖 Regarding tan longevity - good preparation of the skin will make the world of difference! If your skin is on the dryer side, we would even recommend exfoliating a few days leading up to tanning. If you're applying the tanner to dry skin, unfortunately your skin (and the tan) is more likely to shed sooner. Aftercare is also important. Skin hydration is key to maintaining your colour. We recommend using the Everyday Gradual Tanning Milk daily, since this will not only keep your skin hydrated but will also prolong your tan. Other tips to keep your tan looking fabulous include: * limit time in water * avoid scrubbing/rubbing your skin, shaving, waxing * Hot saunas / steam rooms Regarding colour transfer - when self-tanning with any brand it is recommended to wear loose clothing while the tan develops. Until washing the tan off, you do have to be mindful that the bronzer in the tan (the colour in the formula that helps you apply the tan evenly), may transfer onto items of clothing. It does however dry fast and any transfer will be minimal. Rest assured all ingredients in our products are water soluble and should easily wash out. There are no staining agents in the products, but obviously the active ingredients are developed for a certain output when applied to skin.
