My reason for purchase was that my fob came away from the key in the street nearby my home. No idea where it went but gave me a huge worry at the time considering it was for a recently purchased BMW M4. its a nicely finished case that snaps together around the whole key. I have had to glue it together at the seem since because I dropped my keys and it broke apart. The only other thing is that is makes the key a little chunky but I would rather that than lose a £270 fob and risk someone helping themselves to my car. 4 starts because the snap together design need a little help keeping together

This is the real deal. Quality proper carbon fibre, not imitation plastic. It has a quality OEM look, perfect close fit and a real depth when looking at it in the light.It also solves the common problem I had which is that the key ring attaches onto the physical key which clicks into the remote fob, but the clip holding the key in weakens over time and the remote fob can drop off leaving only the key attached to your key ring. This clips over the outside holding everything securely in place until it’s needed.

My key looks better than before, the carbon fibre adds a quality look & it feels sturdy. Already dropped my key a couple of times, this saved it. I also use a RFID signal-blocker pouch & this just about fits. But I think this does give some blocking capability by itself as I have to get closer to my car to unlock it. Don’t take that as a sign you don’t need aRFID signal-blocker, buy one to be sure. This would have been the perfect product if it was signal-blocking too. Still, without it on looks alone - looks better than a standard key, even if slightly chunkier, worth it.
