Q: How long does this bag typically last for one lorikeet?

I think it will depend on what breed lorikeet that you have, as some eat more than others. My rainbow lory gets a full tablespoon a day, and sometimes he doesn't eat it all, and other times he licks his bowl clean. But at 1 tablespoon a day, this lasts me about 6 months (keep in the refrigerator). This food is awesome and my bird thrives on it. And there is no worry about spoilage if left in his cage all day, like there is with the nectar. I also keep his water dish on the other side of his cage, so he cannot drip water into the powder.

There are no measurements. I free feed my Blue Eared Lori when the bowl is empty I fill it.

No, it's meant to be fed dry. You add water to 'Nectar' concentrates. Hope that helps.
