It worked
Long story short, it worked. What would normally be a 20 minute job took about 2 hours of tinkering around getting it to not leak. Make sure the sediment filter itself is seated under the bowl gasket and have some Teflon tape handy.

Leaks at the bowl, no matter what I do
The fuel bowl is a perfect fit. The lines attach perfectly and the shut off valve is easy to operate compared to my original. The fuel bowl leaks and seeps fuel. I can’t get it to stop leaking at the fuel bowl no matter what I do.
