OOOHHHHH MANNNNN!!!! This product has become a part of my life in so many ways... I bought it three years ago (summer of 2012) and it still works like a charm! I will admit, I've bought a lot of cool stuff on Amazon but this is by far my favorite product. Microphone attachment just stopped working because I was really messing around with it at college this year. Takes 3 D batteries! Maybe C? I forgot... I usually just charge the thing and run out the door. Right now my sister has it because she is her class' president and brings it to high school rallies. I use it to scream across my campus and impersonate the police... maybe not the best idea... So fricken loud. I love it. I walk around with it randomly and it is just so loud. I tested out how far you can hear it. I believe you can hear it up to a mile or so. The siren feature is awesome (as mentioned above) and the recording feature is great! I just record a few words and just play it on repeat. Can get annoying fast but the megaphone is SOOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!! Buy it!!!!!! Hope this helped!

RECHARGEABLE BATTERY is AMAZING!! Excellent quality - no feedback! HIGHLY entertaining way to keep my kids in line! Speaking firmly will carry voice as far as shouting does, but yelling into microphone comes out LOUD AND CLEAR with no feedback! Strap is long and wide enough to wear around your neck or sling over a shoulder. Rechargeable battery with built in plug is super light and fits into space where 6 D batteries can be used instead. If you make a recording, it is stored and will play back even after you remove and replace battery. I was even able to hold my phone up to the microphone and play music through it without the squawking feedback (even though it made it sound like a cheap Bluetooth speaker). Siren is obnoxiously loud so it grab someone’s attention quick. Only fault I found with this product is detachable microphone may work fine but it’s made of cheap plastic and feels like it would be break easily so I just don’t use it.

This megaphone is great quality for the money. PROS: Sound is decent quality Price is affordable Relatively light weight Rechargeable battery CONS: Buttons are loose and wobble around Microphone is VERY cheaply made Battery is cheaply made, and is difficult to insert/remove from unit Battery plugs directly into the wall to charge, and falls out easily OVERALL: For recreational use, or light professional use, this unit is a GREAT buy. But if you need something dependable and well-built so it will last, you should invest in a higher end unit.

This is the unit I wanted from the start. even though the reviews weren't encouraging. The first one I ordered was a used Pyle PMP45R megaphone. I have bought and enjoyed a few great used items on Amazon.com, at substantial savings. This was not one of them. The unit arrived unharmed and earlier than expected. But inside the box, the shoulder strap was missing, the mike connector was way too small and wouldn't stay in the hole. OK, so I can live with that. I charged up the included battery for more than 16 hours, put it in place in the megaphone...and...nothing. I couldn't get a multimeter reading on the battery at all. THAT was the deal-breaker. I would have liked to try D cell batteries (6 of them), but I don't buy alkalines, and had just purchased 4 Tenergy Centura rechargeable D cells for something else. I am fairly confident that the unit worked...it just needed a good battery. I searched all over for that battery, but couldn't find it. In fact, the battery had/has no model #, manufacturer, or date anywhere on it. Odd, as they usually have some printed info. I have never had to return anything to Amazon, so, in general, I wasn't looking forward to the process. I only had to submit a request for a refund...once. Amazon sent me an email, which told me what I needed to do, then told me what they would do. At the end of the email, it read, "We want to make this right for you". And that is what they did. I got my refund a few days later, BEFORE I even had the label printed to return the megaphone. I could have exchanged the megaphone, but I didn't want another 'used' one. I started looking at megaphones again because I needed one for security. I was looking at all available rechargeable megaphones and kept coming back to the Pyle PMP45R. It is a comfortable size and weight. Keep in mind, if you have 6 D cells in a megaphone, it is heavier than the onboard battery. The range is 1000 yds, pretty much all you need. I would have preferred the folding handle, but not a deal breaker. I have used it 3 times, now. Is it loud? You bet. I almost dropped it when I pushed the siren button...it startled me. If I wasn't holding it, I could swear that the cops were in front of my house. (hardly ever a good thing when THEY use sirens.) If I had been able to find a replacement rechargeable battery, I would have kept the first megaphone. As it turned out, I am very pleased by the way that Amazon handled the return, and glad that I stuck with my original choice for the Pyle PMP45r.

I was very impressed with our new Pyle PMP45R megaphone. It is light weight and easy to carry. I bought this megaphone for my husband who teaches High School band. When the students were practicing their marching on the field, my husband was loosing his voice from trying to get them to step and line-up correctly. I love the fact that it has a rechargeable battery or you can use regular D batteries. This makes it very convenient to use. Since the price was so reasonable, I was able to purchase this megaphone.

This is supposedly supposed to work with the build in batteries it supposedly has but it didn't you still have to put in 6D size batteries but overall it works like it's supposed to with the extra batteries plus the built in batteries that it should have workrd with just that but it didn't

i bought a similar one from radio shack for $79. in a few months it broke. i decided to go with this one for the price since i expect it to break anyway. I do promotions & we make announcements to people to try products. for the money it is built like the radio shack one that is 3 times the price. the nice feature is that you can record & playback a 10 sec clip. or plug in an aux audio. so we would plug our ipod into it & play music before making announcements. it is an excellent product!

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THIS PURCHASE..PURCHASED TO USE AT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FOR MOSTLY FIRE DRILLS. HOLDS A CHARGE FOR A LONG TIME. RELIABLE, LOUD ENOUGH FOR USING ON LARGE FIELD DRILLS. WOULD BUY AGAIN. RECOMMEND

Producto defectuoso , jamás se hicieron responsables del artículo en mal estado aún yendo a sus oficinas a hacer cambio físico . Vendedor nada recomendable , si pueden hacer la compra directa con Amazon , háganlo !!
