size and dimensions of cloth?

I actually cut mine up into smaller sections already but I think it was about 9" x 12". It works GREAT! I have a stainless revolver and I can't imagine trying t really clean it without one of these cloths!

Does this help exterior metal from rusting?

I would say yes. Did a cold re-blue on a barrel and that process is prone to rust issue. Rubbed it down with the cloth and no rust on it. I used it on all my guns.

can it be used to clean inner parts of ar-15 rifle?

I don't know, I have only used it to put a nice protective coating on the exterior on guns. I do not use it for cleaning.

Does anyone replenish your cloth after it gets too dried out? If so would any silicone spray work or any recommendations?

Mine get Dirty after a lot of use. They work well for their purpose but once they dry up they get repurposed as rags or tossed.
