Motive Fitness TotalStretch TS100 Commercial Back & Body Stretching Machine

I use a similar stretching chair at my gym.This is comparable in how much it helps me to effectively and efficiently stretch most of the major muscle groups. I wanted one at home because I also do road cycling about 25-40 miles three times a week from April-November so I wanted the same effectiveness after my rides. It has really helped! (I have some level of connective tissue dysfunction and also chronic pain after several bouts of dengue hemorrhagic fever while working in Asia.) It's stable enough for me, although I'm only 5'5" and 135 lbs. I haven't had any issues with it tipping or rocking while using it. It feels sturdy, although not as hefty as the heavily used one at the gym. My son put it together and said it was easy. FYI. Physical therapists now say if you're 50+, you need to hold a stretch for at least 50-60 seconds for lasting effect. That's been true for me and has also helped.

I'm a 70-year-old woman and assembled this easily. The parts and wrenches are shrink-wrapped according to each step of assembly. Kudos to the engineers and packaging planners. My biggest concern was how solid and stable this equipment would be. I read some other brands were easy to tip. Not this one. My husband is 220 lbs. and gets an excellent stretch on this, as do I. Additional stretches, besides those on the exercise plate, are available at their website. Exactly what we hoped for. Light commercial grade. Front wheel makes it easy to move.

Assembly took about two hours. Construction quality is sturdy. It is similar to the Precor StretchTrainer stretching machine and accomplishes similar stretches, but it does feel noticeably different. The handlebars are higher and the seating position and foot rests are a little less comfy. So I still prefer the Precor version at the gym, but for the price I’m fine with that. It still provides 70% of the stretch that I need to keep me moving. I’d buy it again.

Constructing this product is fairly easy. All tools are provided in the kit. I'm used to using the Procor stretching machines at Planet Fitness, and I would rate this as similar size, strength and function for a third the price.

I saw this machine's cousin at my physical therapy's gym. Watching it help some serious injuries, I decided to get one for myself. This machine was packaged with care and their instructions for assembly were the best thought out and illustrated I have ever encountered. Using it has relieved stress and I am beginning to add length and endurance to my stretches. It is making it possible for me to help myself.

Very happy with this purchase. Looked all over for a stretch machine that did not break the bank. Value on this is great as it is built as well as others that cost two or three times as much. Assembly is easy and even comes with all the tools you will need.

Putting it together was a bit of a hassle but after a couple hours it was ready to use. The quality is perfect and the outcome is life changing. Cost is high but I needed this machine.

This is the best stretcher ever, well worth the money. Friends and family agree it stretches better than yoga poses and leaves the body feeling well stretched. I first used it at a community gym. It's a little pricey for the home but it's a purchase I'm glad we made.
