I have used this brace for years and it has added many years to my basketball playing life. I was having terrible problems with sprained ankles (since high school) and felt my ankles were getting worse and worse. I tried many ankle braces and they were either too uncomfortable or didn't help, usually the former. My brother-in-law works in the medical supply business and gave me a pair of these. I have not had an ankle sprain since, yes zero sprains! They are very comfortable though most people will need to add 1/2 - 1 to their shoe size to comfortably fit these in their shoes (at least with basketball). I still play basketball 3-5 times per week and in masters b-ball tournaments around the country. The braces typically last for 3-4 years before needing replacement, I usually wash them every 6-month or so and they are very good as far as odor control and durability. I just ordered a new pair and was tempted to try the new speed laces but didn't want to mess with a good thing. Proud to have turned my nephew who's in college on to theses. He's had some serious sprains and these are working for him too. Thank you!

This product is great. I have ankle stability problems at work. This brace works great. I tested the stability on them and I couldnt sprain my ankle if I wanted to. It holds everything in place and is comfortable to wear. It is stable but comfortable enough that it doesnt cut off circulation. If you can lace up a boot, you can get this product setup with no issues. I also didnt have a problem getting the brace into my shoe. There shouldnt be any issues getting this brace to fit into my work boots. If you wear small skinny shoes, it will be a problem.

I injured my ankle snowboarding and needed a brace that would limit movement and this brace provided that. It is easy to put on and the plastic sides work well to limit side to side movement. Another good benefit of this brace is that the breath ability is good and overall profile is small so it fits in almost any shoe. I would recommend this brace for medical rehabilitation and recovery,

So far only having this brace a few days I notice an immediate improvement over my old brace. I deal with an unstable ankle and plantar fasciitis as well as a good amount of pain. This has help decrease my daily pain level and I find I’m walking better. Hoping it will last a decent amount of time. Seems well built and it’s not too bulky that I cant wear a shoe with it. I would recommend trying it. Does seem to run a bit small in the sizing so make sure you take the measurement with your socks on.

This is exactly like the ankle brace I got at the Ortho Surgeons office. Know our insurance company was billed a whole lot more for the one I can home with. It was great to find it on line and at such a great price. Very durable, don't mind wearing it at all, only downside is that it doesn't fit in regular shoes, but fine in a tennis shoe.

Bought this for my son on the recommendation of the podiatrist/ankle specialist who was treating a ligament injury in his ankle that he got playing ball. My insurance paid for the cheap alternative to this product, but as I said the doc highly recommended that we purchase this Ossur brand brace for continued use after the injury healed. Now my son wears it every time he's on the court.... two months now and its still doing the job its intended for. My son is 6' 6" and 180 lbs... so he's not small and plays min 3 games a week.... that's a lot, but this brace still looks and feels new!
