I have always loved the Drifters since I was 7 years old. Especially Save The Last Dance (For Me) and I Count The Tears, vocals by Ben E. King.. They are seminal songs that fuse R & B, R & R, and Pop with Latin rhythms, like their female counterparts The Shirelles! I remember Don't Go, Please Stay, where the Soul element was added with this Brilliant Gem of a song and Rudy Lewis' vocals! I have several compilations, but this one has four alternate versions of songs and I love the buildup and progress towards the completion of a masterpiece. Buy it and Enjoy the Pioneering art of Old School Man Boy Bands! Even the Original Group with Clyde McPhatter! Good Overview of the Group's History! Enjoy!

Great

The names of each song on each CD was different than what was played and listed on the Albums cover. I had to edit each songs title when coppying them onto my computer. Unfortunately, if your CD Player shows the Songs name when the song is playing you will be disappointed. The musics clarity was good though.

This is the ONLY album that includes all of their most iconic hits WITH WHITE CHRISTMAS. I couldn't believe how hard it is to find their iconic recording of White Christmas, even on Christmas albums. As an all arounder, this album is top notch.

I have many not now cd collections and the sound quality and presentation is usually goodWhen my little girl is smiling is a "muddy" recording, I would question a couple of tracks as totheir origin one is" Mexican divorce ", I have never heard that take before! and of course theextra takes are Ktel origin so they could be anyone.The cd package came with a torn wrapper and a scuff mark on the coverSo if you are an avid drifters fan this set will probably not be for you
