Barron's AP Human Geography Flash Cards

I would actually give a 4.5, but it's a close 5. (Hopefully the same goes for my score! Ha!) The only problem is that there's an extra amount of information on some of the flashcards, and that could be advantageous if you read this two weeks, but, when you're cramming everything in the night before the actual AP exam, it's kind of a handful. For example, you could have the simplest word like agriculture, the flashcards would give the most complicated definition with examples that can be pretty hard to grasp (well, when you're scanning it).There is a total of around 420+ flashcards, and most of them are relevant for the exam. I really do recommend getting this as it actually does help. In fact, if you have a hard time sticking your nose in a book, much like me, you NEED to get this since it's basically everything from the Barron's AP book. The flashcards personally helped me for this year's AP exam. I'm usually a last minute studier, so studying half the flashcards two day before the exam and the other half the night before helped me in memorizing important topics along with examples, which is GREAT for when writing the free responses. (I also recommend in getting the Princeton AP Human Geo book, it's easy to read, if you actually open it, and has a more casual style to it as they would add funny titles, probably to ensure that you continue reading.)

Daughter has AP Human Geography as a ninth grader....teacher at beginning of year warned that A students normally will get Cs in her class, but recommended this product. My daughter is one of only two who are maintaining an A+ average and both girls are utilizing these flash cards. During the end of semester parents meeting I had several parents asking how my daughter can keep up with ballet six days a week and all advanced classes. I reminded them of this product mentioned by the teacher at the first parent meeting in June. Many student's will see this product under the Christmas Tree.

Excellent study aid for the AP exam. I could of used these throughout the course to assist with the class.Questions are excellent prep for the exam. Many of the questions are almost word for word. I have heard this is the best edition of these cards regardless of the date you are taking the test.Easy to use. I used to study with a friend. I bought these flash cards to replace the exact same cards that my oldest son used when he was in 9th grade. Unfortunately, one of my current 9th graders had some of the cards in her backpack and they got wet. These are great to review on the bus or whenever they have a few extra moments. We liked them the first time, so I didn't hesitate to purchase them again.

I bought these for my ap human exam and I swear this is what got me a 4. I accidentally ordered flash cards instead of the book, but the flash cards made it sooo much easier to study for the exam. Definitley recommend

These AP Human Geo flash cards have all the right stuff, but you will have to start using them sooner rather than later. They are a good supplement to a good textbook, but are not by themselves adequate for preparation for the exam. While that may be obvious to many, others seem to miss that fine point and depend too much on the flash cards to get them through.

Very helpful

These cards are no substitute for kids makong their own. The problem is how generic they are with their expectations. It might list an idea, but students have no idea exactly what aspects the cards would expect them to cover compared to their teacher or text.

Not as useful as the prep book.
