Fit for purpose
Good product, note the size of the final bolt holding the shelf or whatever is the 6mm dimension. Therefore the actual hole to be drilled is about 10mm diameter and quite deep. Thats fine, but it seems a bit daunting to hang a small item! In that case make sure to check the hole in the bracket is large enough, I had to drill the hole out a little larger.

Brilliant product, even for novice DIYers.
Many hours were spent looking for an appropriate product to use in order to mount a TV bracket to a 'dot and dab' wall in my new build home. Eventually, I found Rigifix and read many reviews of how easy they were to use, how solid they were and how suitable for this type of wall. Having seen many 5* reviews for this product, I took the plunge and ordered 4 in order to mount my TV bracket. No instructions came with the pack but an internet search soon led me to an instruction guide. I used the M6 bolts which required a 12mm drill bit which allowed me to drill at least 90mm deep i.e. through the plaster, across the cavity and into the breezeblock. I drilled a 5mm guide hole first using a hammer drill then the main hole. Please note this is the way I did things for my home and I would recommend researching the product fully in order to ensure the same method is appropriate for your walls. The plugs slotted in with ease and did not slip at all. I then put the long metal bolt inside the plug and tightened using an Allen key - my hand held drill didn't have enough torque to cope with this. The TV bracket was fitted to the wall using the screws that came with the Rigifix bolts. Unfortunately, the metal wore away on one screw as I was tightening it so looks untidy and may be difficult to remove in future. Other reviewers have recommended buying more plugs than required just for this type of incident and I wouldn't necessarily disagree. When completed, the bracket was very securely fixed. As the weight of the unit is borne by the brick work, there was no stress on the plasterboard so I was very reassured. Based on my use of these fixings, I would definitely recommend them. Today's modern walls are so thin and flimsy and mounting an item of any significant weight really needs to be done with great care. These bolts were up for the job. If like me, you hadn't done this type of job before and are nervous about drilling into new walls etc, my advice would be to prepare fully, research and ask a friend to help you. If you still want to go ahead, these fixings won't let you down.

Very strongbolt, screwheads a little weak.
The bolts are surprisingly strong, I intended to use four to hold up a 22inch tv but instead opted for only two as the bolts were that solid, tv doesn't move at all.Only negative comment is the screws aren't so solid with heads being easy to chew, I scrapped one in the process of installing.

Best for dot and dab walls
I have been struggling for a long time to find the ideal fixing for the walls in my modern build house and I finally think I am there with these plugs. The wall plugs are large and appear to be well made and strong, giving confidence in their ability.I have used these plugs to hang some very heavy Ikea Billy shelves and am totally happy with the strength that they have provided. Not only are they strong but they are easier to use than pretty much every other fixing I have tried, and I have tried a lot, and they leave a neat finish in spite of the large hole that is needed. As other people have mentioned there are no instructions but these are available at the rigifix website[...] All that is needed is an allen key.I have been so impressed that I have now ordered a load more and am going around the house replacing most of my existing fixings for shelves etc. with the Rigifix ones just for peace of mind.Marvellous.

Once it's in, it isn't going anywhere !
Very secure fixings for tv bracket. I suggest a larger size drill bit should be used, than the size stated. The grey plastic plug had to be modified as it wouldn't go into the hole drilled, something others have also mentioned.

TV swivel arm bracket on dot and dab walls
Purchased 4 of these to attach a swivel arm to a dot and dab plasterboard wall. After researching on various products, I decided to go with these and they were absolutely perfect for the job. 12mm drill bit needed and a drill/driver with allen key bit to drive in the metal inserts as this would be near on impossible with a manual allen key. I used 4 of these on each corner and 4 "Dryline pro" dot and dabs screws for added strength and have my 42" TV happily hanging on the wall now and the bracket is as firm as if directly attached to brick/concrete.Best thing about these products are that they do not damage the makeup of the plasterboard which is usually easily done when using normal plugs. Would 100% recommend.

Solid as a rock!
Every so often, something actually lives up to its claims, and these wall anchors do just that. I have the abominable dot and dab walls in the extension, and, having to wall-mount a 50" tv, expected the usual problems with this substrate. In fact, using these anchors, I had the tv bracket assembled and secured, and the tv mounted, all within 15 minutes. My only slightly critical comment is that my 8 anchors (I used four and probably needed two since I was able to hang my not inconsiderable weight off it!)came with no instructions. It's not immediately obvious to a novice that the metal sleeve needs to be inserted and tightened in the plug using an Allen key - to discover which the screwbolt must be unscrewed, prior to reinsertion.I wish I had come across these things years ago.
