Great in theory. Execution is flawed... Be warned if you have roof bars.
In all honesty this did save us over the festive period as we were able to pack a whole bunch of stuff in it but there are some drawbacks to this bag:1) The handles aren't up to it. This is a big bag and so unless you are transporting foam, loose feathers or inflated helium balloons you tend to put a few kilos in it. We had a travel cot, folding pram and some other 'baby related nonsense' in it and as we took one end each with the handles they immediately started to give way. The stitching is just not strong enough. If they had run a big loop of polypropylene tape along the bottom with a loop at both ends as a handle this probably would have worked by supporting the weight of the contents. The handles seemed to have been added as a last minute thought.2) Although there are plenty of straps to keep the bag secure, if you have roof bars which are set in width (we have a Jazz so the roofline tapers towards the rear) making them difficult to move more than a few inches each way, you may find they are in the wrong place to provide sufficient support for the bag. Since there is no base board or stiffening strips in the base of the bag, it means the bag will slump in the middle and rub on your roof. Would work really well if you have an old school roof rack which supports luggage over its entire area, but roof bars are more difficult. It's a great idea, seems pretty waterproof in the mild spray and rain we went through (although the handles may no longer be where they have ripped), packs down to a small size and the quick release straps are secure and there are plenty of them but just be aware of its limitations. When I use this again I will get some broom handles and run them fore/aft between the roof bars and lash them down to support the bag in the middle. Bit of a pain in the sphincter but at least it'll work and not rub on the paint of the car.

Really impressed!
I took a bit of a punt on this roof bag as it looked the best out of all of them on amazon. I’ve got a Ford Focus with fixed rails (without gaps in) and roof bars on top. I was unsure from the pictures whether I was going to be able to balance the bag on top of the bars or maybe have to use some hardboard inside it to add some rigidity. The pictures of the bag make it appear to have some kind of rigid box shape - this is not the case, it’s a material bag and only really has that shape if you filled it with a rectangular box. When I received the bag I was really impressed. Its a good size with really strong feeling material and zip. Mine had 3 straps down each length unlike the picture which had 2. I found that I could place it sideways across the roof and it would hold on perfectly to my roof bars. I bought some extra ratchet straps just to be super confident that it wasn’t going to move and a rubber mat to protect my roof.Took on a camping trip and it was great! Have no issues with it at all, although like other reviews have mentioned I wouldn’t put much faith in the carry handles on the ends.Hope the pictures give people a little more confidence in deciding to buy or not.

Good but watch the zips for water
Good size though needed to be on the car sideways to be able to attach it to the roof bars of a Renault grand scenic. Dimensions once filled are closer to the ones in the pictures. It is waterproof but with motorway driving the rain gets in through the zip so I would advise packing clothes in a vaccuum bag inside this bag. Also the outside gets quite saturated with water making it hard to bring inside during hotel stops. Fit on our car on the Eurotunnel without having to say we had a roof box as it wasn't full. Stayed attached without issue for four French motorway drives so no issues there.

Well built
At first I was skeptical about the material used for this roof cargo bag, however, I decided to take a punt after seeing Amazon reviews. The bag is very strong and can hold a lot of cargo, it is waterproof so you don't need to worry about getting items wet. The clips are strong and I have no worries when driving. Would recommend.

Works with inflatable roof racks (Impressed)
Works with inflatable roof racks (wasn't bought for use with a temporary/Inflatable roof rack but had no choice at the time ..… wasn't sure if this bag would work or fail, but it worked really well so definitely a solid buy)

A brilliant product at an excellent price!!
What a fantastic product. It's worth twice what we paid for it. We drove a total of about 12 hrs in heavy rain and all our clothes remained dry throughout. The only bug bear I'd say was the length of the straps....after fasting there was quite a bit of strap remaining. No matter now hard we tried to tie them down/tie knots they would eventually work loose and flap against the side of the roof, causing concern that it was actually the buckle that had come undone. Now at 60mph down the M8 that's not a nice thought... we stopped to check and yes it was just the spare length of strap. Other than that it was just brill. And dried out in no time.

Good fit folds up easily very spacious
Good fit surprisingly easy to fold and fit back in the bag would recommend filling whilst on the car the zip split when we lifted it up, it was easily fixed when unzipped carefully and refastened kept stuff dry and didn’t move on a 100 mile journey

Practical but not 100% waterproof
It is easy to use and very spacious. We had 1 big suitcase, 2 cabin cases and a pushchair. It is not completely waterproof though and water got in through the zipper in very bad weather.
