I think this product is fantastic. I wonder if the reviewer who said there was no scent got a defective batch. I am amazed by the strength of this scent. I put the bottle in the corner of my TV room, which is about 12x15. It is a strong scent (in fact, I think some people might find it too strong, although I love it) through that room and also throughout the adjacent kitchen. You can smell it up to probably 25 feet away. I agree it's more lime than ginger, but I definitely get the subtle ginger scent. I would describe it as very fresh, but in a strong way. Do not plan to put this in a small enclosed space -- unless maybe you remove some of the reeds. I have purchased many diffusers that just don't do the job. I have had this one out for a couple of weeks now, and I love it. Will be buying the refill.

Great smell. Excellent to put in room with cat liter covers smell very well.

I am not sure about the other high reviews on this product but I have had it for two days now and have flipped the reed sticks multiple times and yet still don't smell anything unless I pick up the bottle and hold to my nose. I have put it in different places to see if that would make a difference, but NO. The scent is very faint and smells more like LEMON and I definitely don't smell anything GINGER about it. I am very big into essential oils and the scent properties of better quality oils and was hoping since this one noted it did not contain alcohol, that it would be of higher quality for scent. Product is WAY OVER-PRICED. I am sorry I wasted $45 on this. I give it 2 stars for the nice bottle - although I was surprised at how small it is - maybe 4.5 inches tall by about 2 inches in diameter. Also, I too have a cat and, in my opinion, there is no way this scent would cover up any cat box odor
