Value For Money Laptop - Great All Rounder
I bought this for my partner to replace an old Lenovo which was extremely slow. Very simple & easy to set up & it's much faster than the previous, it's for general use, browsing, using office products and it's great, it's compact & slim, so uses less space on the desk, lightweight so it'a comfortable for using on your lap. The inbuilt mouse can be tricky, but bought another, screen size/picture quality is great, very clear. Connects & keeps the connection to our wifi, it's a super laptop for the price & has been reliable so far (bought aprox 3 months ago), no issues whatsoever, would recommend to anyone looking for a quick reliable, lightweight affordable laptop.

Excellent Value for the Price
This laptop was bought as a present for my partner in September of 2019 prior to her taking it to new Zealand for a prolonged (over winter) stay. This review is given after 6 months of ownership and is based primarily upon her comments and observations, with some small use of the machine by me to assess her feedback.Pros: A light weight and attractive laptop that starts very quickly and has an excellent screen. It has an excellent battery life and gives ample warning of going into 'battery saver mode' when used with out being plugged into the mains electricity. It gives clear indication of an action in progress when waiting for programmes or web pages to load. Considered very good value for money with the full knowledge of in built memory storage.Cons: As mentioned by other reviewers, the delete key is located below the 'back' button and is very easy to 'catch', although usage and experience has tended to reduce this problem. Sound volume is quite low and ear phones were needed when watching streamed programmes. A couple of the keys seemed to be very sensitive and produced repeated letters when typing (particularly the 'o' and 's' keys. Quite firm pressure was often needed to 'left click'.Overall: Our opinion is that the pros far outweigh the cons and that the laptop was an excellent purchase. Although we have deducted a 'star' for the issues mentioned, we would have made this half a star if the option was available. In conclusion, would we recommend to others, yes, would we buy again, yes.

Very Effective Laptop!
Purchased this laptop for my wife who wanted something to replace another make which went pear shaped! She didn't need anything too powerful and using 'the cloud' would mean the storage would not be an issue either. The case is a great silver colour and for the price is a very effective Laptop. The case is strong, yet light and it will stand up to household use pretty well, I think.. The specs give at purchase are all there - and more - and the operation is smooth. For the price, the 14.1" HD screen is very clear indeed, and the keyboard is easy to use with touch activation. There are only two USB ports, but heyho, what more do you expect for the price!Overall a very effective and easy laptop - Lives up to 'Amazon Choice' recommendation.

Too good to be true. Literally.
I'm an English student, and I bought this just to read academic articles and write essays. Ordered around 11pm on a day towards the end of September 2018, and it arrived within 2 days, which was great. Easy to set up, although it ran a little slowly, but I didn't think too much of it.It's currently mid December. I have had the laptop for less than 3 months. The memory is pretty good for the price, but that's about it. It is already on it's last legs.I don't know exactly what I expected for less than £400, to be honest. You have to be sitting practically next to the modem to get decent wifi. The modem is at the bottom of the stairs, my office is at the top. When I sit at my desk I have 2 out of a possible 4 bars of wifi. Every time I disconnect from my network (something this laptop does a lot) the available wifi networks suddenly disappear until I turn it off and on again. The mouse is so sensitive I could have both hands on the keyboard and the mouse will still move to the middle of my previous sentence and I'll end up typing in a place I don't mean to. I've only touched it to turn it on and plug in the charger and there's a hairline crack over where the charger plugs into the device, plus I've had to ring and ask for a replacement charger already because the charger was so poorly made. And speaking of, the charge on the laptop lasts anywhere between 10 and 2 hours after being fully charged and can go from battery saver to critical battery mode in any amount of time from an hour to 5 minutes, when I am doing the exact same thing in both situations. Despite all this, I am still a student and was willing to put up with it in the name of saving money. But then tonight happened. For the last week or so the screen has been flickering in various places seemingly at random. No clue why. Tonight the entire thing flickered between functional and a plain black screen several times before the laptop shut itself down. I've lost my entire coursework plan plus 300 words of my actual coursework, 14 hours before the deadline.I feel the need to stress again at this point that I have had this laptop for less than three months, and only use it for uni related work.I managed to turn it back on after leaving it alone, plugged in for a solid 10 minutes, and once it came back on I immediately came here to write this, and the screen is literally flickering as I type.Do not buy this laptop.

Good all rounder moderately fast for the price.
This is a fairly good all rounder for the price The screen display is impressive. It is not super fast but fast enough as a family computer and is mainly being used for browsing and for the kids homework. You will need some extra disk space as it only comes with 32GB, however there are many cheap options to expand this to a reasonable amount. I have had this PC for a couple of weeks now and happy with it in terms of quality considering it is not really expensive. The right and left click buttons on the mouse-pad took little while to get used to (they are built into the pad and not separate as on my last laptop) but this was only a minor issue easily got over once you get a bit of practice. Overall good value for money as a general Laptop and pleased with the purchase as a whole.
