Captivating for a 4yr old
The book has a cute storyline and managed to be summed up in the perfect length. It encourages your little one to consider other possibilities of what those Leprechauns might be up to. Thankfully, these Leprechauns are kind and not mischievous like most.

Cute story
We bought this book along with several Irish stories to prepare for a family trip to Ireland (post pandemic). It's a cute story, especially when I figured out to sound a little Irish while reading aloud with my 7 year old. Poor Tim O'Toole gets outsmarted by his neighbors twice before the little people help him outsmart them back.

Very interesting story
Bought it for class reading - second grade. Kids listened with interest and liked very much the illustrations. Before reading highly recommend to explain that exist difference between American English and Irish English.

Fun Irish Story
Fun book with an engaging story. The leprechauns aren't creepy like in some of the other Irish folktales, so that was a bonus.

Shenanigans Afoot!
Oh the follies of crossing a leprachaun! A fun, and wise, tale. Thank you darlins!

Message a little odd
The overall message is a little odd. However, it seems it is a legit Irish tale which is fun!

Fun book to read aloud to my own kids--one can almost effect an Irish accent with the prose! Ordered five used copies for gift-giving. Cover of one was a little faded--I assume top of a stack stored in the sun?

Get in the St. Patty’s Day mood!
Cute Irish story about a man, down on his luck, who stumbles upon a group of “wee folk” who bring him good fortune... but not without some mischief. A bit of a longer read, but good for about 4yrs and above.
