I was a little worried about this, considering there were several reviews saying that it didn’t fit. It fit just fine in our box and provided exactly what we were looking for great value for the money and was super easy to install.

Made it easy to hide my wires in the wall

Great for running components behind your TV, so you don’t see any wires. It’s as easy as plug & Play. I looked into building my own originally. I would have had to gather a lot of pieces and parts to make it work. I bought 2 so I could run from behind the TV to inside a lower built in.

Brush plate does not fit standard wall bracket.

I couldn't find anything like this at local big box stores. Fits standard outlet duplex box. Included all hardware. Haven't tried any of the ports yet, will update if needed.

I knew this was going to be tough to install but I still under estimated it. Used extra depth box and cut out side and corner of it for hdmi cables. Do your self a favor and buy all flexible lines. I did not and it was very difficult to set in place especially coax cable. I didn’t even connect Ethernet but funny thing is I had some very flexible cables for that. No need for it. I was concerned about not having a steel plate but the plastic is exceptionally tough. Good buy.

No issues installing the keystone side, except that the screws that come with the product are too thick to to use in the Carlton box. So, I used my own. However, when I tried to install the brush side, it does NOT fit into a standard Carlton low voltage mounting bracket. The metal bars on back side (and top/bottom clips) are too tall (see 4th product picture from top). I returned the item.

Seems to be good quality. I did not use the open side with the brushes, but instead put a 120v outlet with surge protection in it’s place. I was able to run 3 HDMI, 2 CAT6 and 1 Digital optical line from above the fireplace to an adjacent wall. I used two of these to finish the project.
