A must buy for Cupcake 🧁 Lovers!
This is a must have if you are a lover of cupcakes 🧁 no matter if you’re vegan or not. I visited the actual cupcake shop in London recently and fell in love. I have made the cupcakes and they were simple and easy to bake! I LOVE this book and the shop in London!

Wonderful wild and wacky frostings and decorations are not good enough to make up for the horrible cake bases. Typical bad vegan - heavy and tasteless. I am an experienced vegan baker and know what a good cake should look and taste like - you can't disguise a bad cake with frosting !

What a disappointment!
I was really looking forward to this book since the author operates a bakery. But I was disappointed by the junkiness of pretty much all recipes: sandwiches with buttercream icing (!?), self-raising white flour, margarine and shortening en masse, fake food colouring, rapeseed/canola oil recommended (some extra GMOs anyone?). I don't think tasty vegan cake translates into "you must use the worst ingredients out there because most conventional baking does the same!".The Jaffa Cakes turned out sickeningly sweet for me and my partner, ditto for the Victoria Sponge Cake, which was very dry despite following instructions to the letter.Nice pictures of the baked items are overshadowed by portraits and group photos of Ms. Cupcake (who admittedly is quite adorable) and her 'cool' employees emphasizing a certain subculture (that not every reader may identify with or take pleasure in viewing) - a waste of precious space and redundant in a baking book, IMO.

AMAZING cakes! I was ummming and ahhing whether to buy this book or not for ages! Now I wish I'd bought it sooner. As soon as it arrived, I baked the vanilla cupcakes (with added dairy free chocolate chips). Today I baked chocolate cupcakes for my daughter's bake sale at her nursery tomorrow. The cakes are delicious and hoping to change a few people's minds in regards to veganism. If you love animals and love cake, then get this book! Simple, delicious and wonderful! Lots of great photos too :)

Love cake? Buy this book
Just divine. I don't regret my decision to buy this book even if it probably is the cause of my expanding waistline... Nothing wrong being being a junk food vegan every once in a while, especially when the food is that good!! I loved this so much I bought it for my omni friend who runs a cake business as she was struggling to cater to people with dietary requirements. I must say this book is beautiful from the photos to the recipes. I have people asking me for second or third helpings. Being vegan doesn't mean you have to miss out on anything

nicely presented book
Really simple to use, nicely presented book. The recipes are written with several different measurements (ie sticks and grams for butter etc - the picture shows it better than I can!)I've only done the Snickerdoodle and Chocolate Chip cookies so far, but they were delicious!Really easy recommendation to make.

The BEST vegan recipe book for sure!
This book is probably the best baking book I've ever bought. For someone who has allergies to eggs, and who knows several people with dairy tolerances, it is marvellous to find so many delicious recipes to try in just one book, that are all safe. All the recipes are presented so well with pictures and cool writing and are so enticing. My overall favourite is the victoria sponge recipe, it's sooo scrummy, holds together so well, and always turns out to perfection. My family and friends absolutely love it, and many have said that they would never have guessed it didn't have egg in! Time and time again I am being asked to bake it again! It also works well with icing over the top :-) However, I also like the other recipes, in particular the blueberry crumble muffin recipe which I must admit, I have adapted to use raspberries instead, and have left out the almonds as I'm allergic, is sooo yummm. I have baked these many times now and I've had lots of lovely comments of appreciation come back! And also the blueberry lemon loaf cake is scrummy! There are some interesting and different recipes too which I have tried, like the lemon cheesecake cupcakes, which also seemed to go down rather well. The other thing I love about this book is the section on icings and spreads ~ there are different recipes for different types of toppings including buttercream ones, and they always turn out so well, and the methods are much better than recipes I used to use. I really can't recommend this book highly enough! Buy it! You really won't be disappointed! :-)

Calling all vegan bakers!
This book was the perfect Christmas gift for my vegan friend. She absolutely loved it, and after looking through it myself I almost wanted to keep it for myself! Unlike some other vegan cook books I've seen, this had a great recipe to picture ratio and was so colourful and pretty to look at. Would highly recommend to vegans and anyone looking to try a new way of baking!
